"I called to set up an appointment with this facility. I had an individual session as well as couples. It was then I was told that not only would I be charged for a session, I would also be charged a monthly subscription fee for an app that they use despite the fact we have insurance. The representative then took my credit card number so she could charge me before I had even seen a therapist to get on the books. Paid fee scheduled appointment. Appointment was canceled no notice no call. Took their apologies rescheduled go to appointment yet again and canceled yet again. No call no notification nothing. Called number again to voice concerns and complain only to be told I'm sorry however I can't transfer you to billing because it another area. If I didn't physically go the the building to have to call because no one was up front i would swar this place is a scam. Save your money cause i will be calling my bank for them 1"

"I am back and better than ever. After experiencing a great deal of lost over the past couple of years and dealing with anxiety and stress, I wanted help. I came across ThriveWorks Counseling. What attracted me are their flexible hours. I have a very demanding job and needed someone to fit around my schedule. I met with Valery Dickinson. Oh, my!!! "Update: I was contacted by the office manager to address my concerns. It was indicated that the fee I paid was for the purposes for which I had originally been told. She also agreed that having my remaining appointments canceled without notification was also inappropriate, and she would speak with the counselor in question. For that reason I have updated my star rating to 4 out of 5. Disappointed with our experience. I paid an additional $100 fee after being told that the fee allows the patient access to the provider between appointments, only to be told by Valery, the therapist, that it only extended to scheduling appointments. You are also required to cancel 24 hours in advance, or pay an additional fee (which I total understand) however, after canceling an appointment on the online system, our therapist canceled all remaining appointments we had already set-up because we did not email her directly with an “explanation of cancellation”. I didn’t realize that was required or I would have done so as well. My biggest issue with that, was that I was not even notified of the cancellations, and after rearranging my own schedule only found out on a fluke on the day of the appointment. I also found the therapist to be condescending during our interaction when emailing about this policy. We have opted to find a better fit for our family."
