"Waste of time. I waited more than a month for the appt and was charged a large in-take fee and was told I would work with the main therapist after the office made an error. My son was placed with two different interns who quit after less than two appts. I was told by the interns "they had differences with the provider". Super disappointed with this office. Update: I received an email from the practice after I completed this review that I was difficult to collaborate with because of appointment availability. They said I should be more willing to collaborate. Also, they noted that the therapists were not interns. Also, I was told in advance that scheduling could be challenging and I was told in advance that I would have to wait for a therapist for their office. I understand this is a practice working on building their clientele. This review was meant to state that 2 therapists quit in a short duration of time and I would not recommend this practice."
"I would leave a 0 if I could. Just wasted my time & my daughters since I had to get her out of class which is 45 mins from this office. My daughter has been waiting on this appointment for 2 months. We finally get here and she’s not even on the client list for the therapist. Along with I never received intake paper work so they said she couldn’t be seen without it but also don’t have an in office printer to fill out the paperwork. And need supervisor approval to mail paperwork out which is insane. But she couldn’t been seen anyways since they never had her on the therapist client list. They expect me to wait until JANUARY for another appointment. No thanks. The office is also hard to find with no signs or any business description available. Very unorganized. Very unprofessional. Complete waste of time and I was referred by the owner."
"Please don’t waste your time seeing Shatisha Wilson. Completely unprofessional her mother answers the phones she’s unprofessional as well bad attitude and badly managed. I started seeing Ms. Wilson at the recommendation of my EAP after I was unable to continue paying for more visits outside of the ones they paid for she refused to provide me with medical records at my first request stating I needed to make an appointment first. Then I had to pay $75 just for her to complete a 2 page form for my disability carrier. She also went out of her way to facilitate having my disability claim denied since I wasn’t seeing her any longer."
"I searched for a counselor for myself and children after some significant life changes in 2019. I loved that fact the Wilson's Garden of Hope offered services specific to children. I read several unfavorable reviews about the office but still utilized their services because they specialized in children therapy. Mrs. C. Gatlin and Mrs. Noble, our counselors were awesome but the office staff and owner are not. Both have the last name of Wilson. I think they may be related. The receptionist Wilson is very "nice nasty" Her tone is condescending and verbally aggressive most of the time. The owner, Wilson condones the behavior and her attitude is dismissive and rude as well. I will never return to this office and would not recommend it either. Edited post based on the feedback below: Your response is irrelevant to the my specific concerns. To my point, my children and I came to every appointment, was never late, and my services were paid with insurance and I covered my copays at every visit. Being one of the only child therapy offices in Augusta, your office would be a great fit for all families if you would take the time to truly accept customer feedback in a positive way and apply methods to make it better. I also highly doubt that you reviewed phone recordings because I waited for weeks for you to resolve my issue regarding the confusion with my son's appointment and you've failed to follow through."
"I canceled my first appt because I had bronchitis. I had a doctor's excuse and everything. Front desk still tried to make me pay a cancellation fee. Luckily, I had the email to prove to her that they said the fee would be waived. My daughter's second appt was canceled, 24 plus hours in advance and they sent me a bill for $75. They dont return calls promptly and they charge for emails. Very poor customer service. My child will not me back. Oh, they also lied to me. They told me they had someone to prescribe my daughter's medicine. After the appt they told me the NP didnt come after all. Kudos for her!! I was left to find a Pyschritrist on my own. They wouldn't even do a referral. Very poor custom service"
