"Marintha truly did a wonderful job with thoroughly cleaning and touching up the varnish on my old violin. When I dropped the violin off it was dirty and looked old and dull but when I picked it up it was actually gleaming. Well worth the drive and very fairly priced, thank you for the fantastic job!"

"Wally has worked on almost all my instruments, from a 1917 Gibson A4 Mandolin to my 2016 Ibanez fretless - I trust him with them all. Most recently he re-cut the nut of my 1986 Ibanez 5 string from high C to low B configuration. It came back singing! Nothing needed any attention; it was all exactly right."
"I took my custom made 8 string classical guitar there to have the strings changed and have adjustments made to the bridge and nut. Never got to go in the shop to meet Wally. All my interaction was with the wife. I stressed the value of the guitar due to the special woods and the luthiers who crafted it in South America and stated the top was over a thousand years old. To my chagrin my brand new guitar had deep gouges and scrapes where it was obvious that the section of wood had not been protected. Disappointed is an understatement. Anger is an equally downgraded feeling to describe what I have felt since discovering it. If you have a beat up guitar that’s worth less than 10k then maybe you wouldn’t mind such indifferent treatment. But I’m at a loss for words. Work was good but negligent in how this fine instrument was handled. Would recommend for beat up players you don’t care about but for high end I’d attempt all work myself. Sadly he came highly recommended."
