"I had a computer that wouldn't power on and brought it here for troubleshooting and to fix it. Sergio was very quick at determining the issue and was very honest with me on options to fix it and the cost. The processor/motherboard appeared to be fried. He could have easily recommended just doing the work, which would have cost a significant amount just in parts, but he was straight up with the risks of using used parts to do the repair and potential to need both a motherboard and processor as the burning smell was from that general area, and he was clear that the cost could be more than the computer was worth In the end to do the repair. In the end, I decided to just buy a new laptop and transfer everything over from the old hard drive. Sergio bought what was needed to evaluate the old hard drive so it could be used as an external drive and helped transfer the files. His pricing was very fair and he was very quick!
