"Much like the other review. My install was messy and the unit had issues for weeks after installation. Far from the great reviews I read here. This is the only time Google has let me down. I am guessing these people are doing 5 stars for the warranty these folks promise if you keep a service agreement. I moved on to find a trustworthy service. I highly recommend you keep looking. If you doubt me go to social media and look at the filtered shots of the owner. Thats EXACTLY what you get. Filtered service and follow up."
"I called Chisholm Plumbing due to having issues with my toilet. Chris Gibbs was the technician that came out. Chris checked everything thoroughly and diagnosed the problem. Chris was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. After receiving the quote, I decided to move forward with getting the work complete. Dustyn and Alan were the technicians that came out to complete the work. They were very nice and knowledgeable also. They took their time completing the work and gave me recommendations on other things that would help keep things flowing smoothly. Once they finished the work, everything was back working properly. This was my first time using Chisholm's Plumbing and I will definitely use them again."
"There’s no emergency phone number to call if something happens on holidays/off hours. We had our semi annual inspection, and haven’t had our heat working since. Everything worked great prior to the inspection. We are paying for the annual service/inspection plan, but in case of emergency there’s no one to call? Extremely disappointed. Reply/edit: Unfortunately, emergencies don’t choose when to happen. And your website clearly states that there are emergency services available? As far as our system - it was installed when the house was built, 12 years ago. What repairs are you mentioning? Your tech RECOMMENDED some things/system updates, (some of which are plain peddling by the way), there was nothing wrong/nothing to repair at the moment? We have a statement from your tech with recommendations, nothing about unit needing any repairs. Since your office was unavailable until Monday (that’s 4 days without heat!), we had to call another independent contractor to come out and check our system. Not only he was very prompt/ also no dispatch fee! , quickly fixed the issue (which had nothing to do with the age of our units!), but he also noted that the system looks well maintained, and everything works just fine. And this company’s maintenance plan INCLUDES same/next day emergency visit - which is the whole point of any plan, if you ask me), cleaning outside/inside units, and several other things - for almost half a price of the plan we had with you. So they are the ones we will be going forward with:) Have your office give me a call to make sure our maintenance plan is not renewed/card on file not charged. Last update- please don’t take any credit for our well maintained system. We were your customers for only this past year. Also, very unprofessional responses, which , I’m sure, will help potential customers when they’re considering HVAC companies;)"
"Great customer service from the office with quick response time. My tech, Matt, was very nice and explained everything to where I could understand it. Gave me what my options were for repairs with no sales pressure and what were the highest priorities on the list. Did appreciate getting a text letting me know what tech was coming out and giving me his picture so I knew who to expect. Very professional all around. Would recommend."
"This company offers the most budget-friendly quote you can find, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." I collected seven quotes and ultimately decided to hire them to replace both the upstairs and downstairs heat and AC units, along with the ductwork for the second floor. On the first day of work, they claimed to have completed the upstairs units and ductwork. However, upon inspection, I noticed that the vents they installed were not properly aligned. To my surprise, they had neglected to replace two significant runs of ductwork, each about 40 feet in length, above the garage. It seemed they attempted to hide these because they were hard to access. After confronting them, they eventually replaced the missing ductwork. Things took a turn for the worse after that incident. They left wires exposed outside the box on the upstairs unit and left holes open under the unit, creating a pathway for animals to enter the basement. I had to inform them that there are plates available from York to cover these openings. Additionally, the ductwork they installed was not hung correctly, causing pinches in the lines, and they used ductwork of the wrong size despite promising otherwise. On the second day, while working on the downstairs unit, they failed to connect the thermostat wire, leaving us with a non-functional unit. They attributed the issue to our Nest thermostat and left. However, I had to take matters into my own hands and correctly wire the unit myself, despite their assurance that everything was checked. Throughout the process, they continuously blamed me for various issues and claimed to have done an exceptional job. However, I have photographic evidence of the subpar work they performed. They also promised that the new units would provide balanced heat and AC throughout the house, but there is a noticeable 7-degree difference between our bedroom and our child's room. They clearly lacked the expertise to install the ductwork and new system effectively, resulting in uneven temperatures in different rooms. In conclusion, my advice to others would be to invest a little more money and hire a more reputable company. While they might handle minor tasks well, full installations seem to be beyond their capabilities. Furthermore, it raised concerns when they arrived in a different company truck than the one I received the quote from, which leads me to question their intentions and practices."
