"Went on a Wednesday night, slow night, but good food. I had the Lula kabobs and cabbage rolls. Really good! We accidentally went in, (BBQ on roof), but was pleasantly surprised."

"Delightful lunch stop at Smak Deli Cafe during our road trip along the 85. A very warm atmosphere with lovely music, cute plates, and welcoming service. The food was incredible—everything was deliciously seasoned and unique. Loved the Tajik Pilaf, Chicken Kebab, and the Shurpa soup. They even have baked goods and special Tazik drinks. Would love to come back and try more things if I’m in the area again."

"The food is delicious! And for the price of this food you would not find anything so healthy and tasty- we tried and actually threw away our food that we bought before giving this place a try. We stopped by with 5 kids 11 and under and they were super excited to have kampot, cabbage rolls, and pirozhki! The eggplant and carrot salad were amazing! We took two orders home. The soup was delicious. We were hungry and ordered a lot of food including dessert and we were not disappointed in anything!"

"Stopped here for lunch with our family on the way to the mountains. This was a place that was on my list of places I’ve been wanting to try. I ordered shurpa soup and it was delicious!! also we tried chicken kebabs and lula kebabs with tajik pilaf. All these dishes were absolutely amazing!! The cheburek, samsa, and pirojki with cabbage were better than most I have had in Charlotte! I was impressed by how delicious and tender the lamb pot roast was. Kids really liked kampot from fruits, also they have their own kvass. The price for dishes is really nice and not expensive. The owners were very hospitable and service was quick and great as expected! If you want to sing, they have a karaoke! The restaurant has a quick access from highway and big parking lot. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner!"
