"The waffles are delicious! We were lucky to get the last two the day we came (late morning on a weekday). They didn't skimp on the strawberries on mine. The "secret garden" latte was also tasty. If it's too late in the day for coffee, you can get a beer here instead, but they don't really seem to have much for other food options. A couple people looked like they were using it as a remote work spot; it seemed like a nice atmosphere for that with lots of natural light. They also sell some themed tourist maps (plant stores, barbeque places, art galleries, etc.), which is a fun idea for visitors."
"We visited on a road trip between North Carolina and Florida. I know this pace is a serious staple for locals, but as visitors we were warmly welcomed and treated to truly outstanding waffles and coffee! It was a chilly, rainy day and the warm ambiance inside left us feeling nourished. I loved the sweet waffles with savory fillings :)"
"A few times a month my wife and I treat ourselves to homemade waffles and a latte. Creative true Belgium waffles served with a smile and a thank for your business in a welcoming community atmosphere is hard to find these days. Definitely worth a visit. The best part is that supports kids who often times can only dream about the adventures Mountain Goat provides."
