"These are probably the best steak fries I've had. I've thoroughly enjoyed them, even without sauce, which is something I'd never say for steak fries otherwise. They give you samples of the beers on tap if you need help making your decisions and the service is really friendly. The table felt a bit icky tho and the Nashville hot burger was just alright. My friend did say the fish was some of the lightest and easy to put down fried fish he has ever had at a bar so I guess they stay winning on some ends."

"Great experience at the Carolina Ale House. We went for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was packed for football game day but we were able to get seated in a reasonable amount of time. Our waitress was great she made sure to keep our drinks filled and food came out fresh. The chicken was slightly dry but overall tasted pretty good. Very good portion size for the price! Love how the upstairs is an indoor/outdoor atmosphere. Very lively with tons of TVs to watch sporting events on."

"It's a sports bar but it's a very good one. We could not decide on a food genre so ate here for the variety. Food was great. They have a retractable roof which was open on our visit."

"We stopped at Carolina Ale House for a couple drinks late on a hot evening. The rooftop bar area was open to the sky and a beautiful way to see the city at night. Our server, Lexi, was fantastic. They have a large selection of local beers. Together with the rooftop view, the drinks were a perfect end to a day in Greenville."

"Loved the layout and atmosphere, but it was quickly ruined by the non-existent service and awful food. I was looking around for 10+ minutes to get another cocktail, the appetizer never came out, and my steak entree was 4/10 at best. The “grilled vegetables” were literally a pile of raw veggies and the ribeye was thinly cut. Felt bad leaving a 10% tip, but it was so bad. I also understand this is a sports bar type of place and they’re probably only good for wings and beer, but poor service and that bad of a food was disappointing. I’d go somewhere else to spend you money."
