"I have really enjoyed the opportunity to learn from the best at Ray Smith TKD over the past year with my six-year-old son. The atmosphere in the Dojang is that of a community where students learn from each other as well as the instructors. Classes are multi-age and skill based which allows my son and I to learn together. I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience with him. My son looks forward to classes and I'm amazed by the improvement I have seen in him over the past year. Grandmaster Ray Smith and Master Donna Smith have tremendous experience, skill and passion for Tae Kwon Do, they use it to develop the next generation of athletes and leaders. With decades of experience they have established an culture of mentorship where senior students will help teach the newer members. This facilitates younger students having older student role models to look up to as well as develops the leadership skills of experienced adolescent students. The lessons learned go beyond martial arts. I'm grateful to have found this organization and recommend it to others who are interested in learning Tae Kwon Do."

"I have 15+ years training with Master Smith and fellow classmates all the way back to when he was running class through the YMCA. I don't know of anyone more dedicated to not only the sport, but also to the well being of ALL of his students. He makes the entire class feel at ease when training in a very physically demanding way in preparations for tournaments. He has and always will be a father figure to me and I feel extremely fortunate to have crossed paths with him some many years ago. "Finding Ray Smith's Tae Kwon Do was a gift to my family and to any family that walks through their door. Grand Master Smith and Master Smith are very dedicated to the sport and to their students.
