"Since bringing Inigo Montoya home as a kitten I started working with him. I have been successful in regular brushing, keeping any mattes at bay, and trimming his nails. Baths are another matter. I have been able to give him "partial" baths, at best. Meaning I am able to get him wet and soapy, but he squirms so much I don't think he really gets completely clean (or do I honestly believe I am able to fully rinse out all the shampoo). As he has grown over the past 4 years I noticed, while he enjoys his brush outs, he gets bored and impatient quickly. Soon I'm trying to hold and groom a 12 pound cat that is either dead weight, knowing he will slowly slide out of my hands, or I'm suddenly wrestling a cat with such silky, soft hair I might as well be trying to hold on to a greased pig. Finally, I decided to throw in the towel and take him to a professional and I'm so happy I did! Gracee is AMAZING! I'm always nervous taking Inigo Montoya anywhere and leaving him. I've only ever done this twice. Once for oral surgery and the second this past week for his first professional grooming experience. I couldn't have gone with a better choice! Inigo Montoya is easily frightened and exceptionally skittish. He cried the entire drive to Upstate Meow to the point of losing his voice. After meeting Gracee at the door and a quick debrief, with an introduction to Inigo Montoya, I was on my way. Secretly I was so worried he would cry the whole time and poor Gracee would be gifted with a headache as a result. I was pleasantly surprised upon picking him up to hear her report. Inigo Montoya was quiet and relaxed too! It is rare others see the sweet, mild-mannered cat I know and love so I was ecstatic to hear Gracee tell me how wonderful he was. What a relief. I will ABSOLUTELY be visiting Upstate Meow and Gracee on the regular for seasonal de-shedding and treating Inigo Montoya to spa days. Thank you Gracee!"

"I left a message on their voicemail inquiring about services and they were in contact with me that same day. Scheduling an appointment for my 2 boy cats was super easy. Dropped them off on a Saturday at 9am and told them what I wanted and they did an amazing job with my 5 yo and 3 yo cats! I picked them up at 1:30pm and I loved how they looked after :) Will definately be repeat customers!! And I have no clue what shampoo they used, but it smelled amazing!"
