"Brief visit for breakfast along the boardwalk. Grounds are impeccable, well manicured & beautifully landscaped with an inviting beach theme. To go breakfast sandwich from the market was delicious, substantial and not over priced. Would most definitely come back for a stay at this relaxing, oceanfront beach community."
"We had a bad experience at Wild Dunes. Maybe Wild Dunes is too big, or under-staffed or something, but management was unreachable. We kept getting "guest experience" phone jockeys who were off-sites. Our issues were not resolved. Next time we'll stay somewhere else. Honestly, We expected more from a Hyatt managed property."
"I travel a lot for work and stay in many different places. I would stay here again simply because of who checked me in. I had a day full of delayed flights and Jera was absolutely amazing. She was friendly and professional and made my long travel day infinitely better."
"We were told that the room was ADA compliant for my mother in law who is in the end stages of cancer. She is wheel chair bound and faces other mobility challenges. Its safe to say when we book a room to be ADA compliant its due to a need not preference. Despite speaking with staff directly and explaining our situation we assured that the villa we booked would be ADA compliant. We were promised a shower chair as well as a beach wheel chair. However the shower chair was not existent and we were forced to use a lawn chair from the balcony. The wheel chair provided was made of PVC pipes and unsafe, not to mention the wheel popped. We were forced to purchase our own ADA compliant beach chair. The access to the beach was a challenge and if there wasn't people willing to help, I don't know if we would have gotten my sick mother in law on the beach. While we understand doing this activity requires a lot of coordination this was one of my mother in laws last dying wishes. This review is to warn anyone that is thinking about booking with Wild Dunes and has concerns about it being ADA compliant. I strongly urge to triple check that its ADA compliant."
"My wife and I stayed here for about a week in April 2023. We stayed in the Boardwalk Inn. The room was good, no issues and had everything we needed. Walking around the hotels was easy and made getting to & from the beach incredibly convenient. We rented a car and I would highly recommend that if you want to go anywhere off property (which I would recommend, especially for dining). I played golf at both courses while we were there. Both courses were decent, I probably liked Harbor (although no driving range) over Links but they were both good. My wife enjoyed the spa one day. She thought it was nice but was not blown away. Services were very expensive for what you get. Aside from the convenience, there's not much else I'd recommend. The food & beverage prices are outrageous, mediocre quality, and limited options. Service was average, nothing bad but nothing great. The area was great with beautiful beaches but if go back, we will be looking for other lodging arrangements."
