"Perfect location, friendly staff, nice hotel lobby atmosphere. Room was spacious and updated. If you are over 6 ft tall the shower isn't for you and very little water pressure. The view from the balcony could've been better as I did ask to be on the highest floor but wasn't granted that wish. You could see to the left perfectly fine but not too the right as it was blocked by part of the hotel. We didn't have balcony chairs either. Overall, good stay. I would come back but 3 nights is enough at Folly."

"I don't understand why this hotel has such a high average rating. The rooms all smelled like smoke, and the desk in my room was very run-down with stuff permanently stuck to the desk. I saw a staff member talking to someone who was not a guest who had just come in from smoking- I think a lot of people smoke in these rooms, or at least carry their second-hand odor smells. The cold and hot water valves in the sink only have hot water, so I was unable to get cold water. The lobby smells like the deodorizer, but so strong it gives me a headache, like it's trying to mask a smell. The service was very attentive and eager to please. They are probably the best part of the property. The location is nicely on the beach, but the next hotel in the surrounding area had bars up with a parking garage right next to the beach, so it didn't feel like a very nice beach. At high tide, the beach wasn't very big. Everything, exterior and interior, seemed just a little worn down and like it hasn't been updated in decades. The only thing that looked newer was the bathroom counter. However, the cold water didn't work. I didn't try the shower since I couldn't wait to leave."

"Came for our honeymoon and was blown away. This is one of our go-to hotels from now on, very clean, well organized, and super good food! I highly recommend you stop by the pier top bar. It's definitely a favorite of mine as well!"

"Decent facility, excellent location! It is not the fanciest place, but would definitely consider returning. + We found the hotel to be comfortable and relaxing. The room was spacious and came with a mini fridge (surprisingly not all places offer one). They also provided a microwave upon request (however, it would have been nicer if they left it inside the room instead of outside the door upon arrival). + Their location is top notch for the area. We could walk to everything we needed and unbeatable beach access. It was very clean for being such a pet friendly place as well! + The lobby staff were very nice and helpful. - Service was a little slower than we're used to. We requested fresh towels due to a miscommunication with the cleaning staff, and ended up going down to the lobby to get them ourselves after an hour. +/- Happy they provide beach towels, but they are small. I'm about 5' and the length of it just covers my upper body, but for my partner who is about 6' he was laying partially on the sand."
