"If you’re going to visit downtown Beaufort, you need to stop by The Chocolate Tree. They’re a little bit away from the waterfront, but that’s ok because they have parking in the back. They have a beautiful selection of chocolates and sweet treats! I like their prepackaged gift boxes, and that they offer sugar free for diabetics. My kids love that their grandma brings them to the Chocolate Tree when we all come down to visit. You’ve made our visits to Beaufort even more memorable!"

"First thing! The Chocolate Tree has collaborated with the city of Beaufort to promote some of the “Forrest Gump” tourists. If you stop at the city museum you can get a free chocolate certificate. So that is what brought us to the The Chocolate Tree- they are a cute little chocolate shop with a nice selection of a variety of chocolates. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again for our chocolate needs when on Beaufort."

Plenty of excellent things to choose from but we were there for a box of chocolate that would make Forrest Gump run from the west coast to acquire. And there’s actually a chocolate tree.
