Hare and the Moon Farm

Hare and the Moon Farm is a charming flower farm located at 388 Fordham Hill Road in Hermon, New York. As the spring season arrives, the farm is bustling with preparations for their first Farmer's Market in Potsdam on May 13th. The owner, Jennifer Steele, is excited to share a variety of tulips just in time for Mother's Day. The flower field is blooming with Snapdragons and Sunflowers, with many more flowers to come. The farm is also working on irrigation systems and other projects to enhance the beauty of the fields.

Jennifer and her husband, Josh, are fourth-generation farmers who are bringing a new approach to flower farming in the North Country. They are dedicated to providing fresh cut flowers, including tulips, narcissus, ranunculus, hydrangeas, peonies, lilacs, perennials, annuals, and herbs. Their goal is to bring joy and beauty to the community with their locally grown flowers.

As natives of Northern New York, Jennifer and Josh are happy to be back in the countryside, living a more relaxed life with their family. As Veterans, they are also looking forward to giving back to the community and supporting other Veterans.
