"The resort seems to improve every year. We have Been coming here for years and had a hiccup with our site reservation this time. I have to admit I was surprised at the effort the manager and staff went though to find us an acceptable site that met our requirements. Everyone truly appeared to want to make our stay an enjoyable one. Hat tip to the manager and staff."
"This is probably the best RV Resort we've been to. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. They helped us park our coach and went over the rules and amenities is the park. The location is perfect to get around Hilton Head. Close to bike trails and restaurants."
"Best luxury motorhome resort! This paradise resort got it all: - large private and quiet lots with leveled concrete pads - awesome facilities (pickleball, pool, etc), fantastic landscaping - great people - close proximity, everything is in walking distance: beach, restaurants, shopping - best place to bike around this beautiful island which is a green paradise - located close the entrance to Sea Pine - help to park your motorhome by 2 staff (one locate upfront the other in the back of your RV while you park and help you to position it) Once there, you cannot wait to go back!"
"One of the most beautiful parks we've ever stayed at. Private feeling spaces. Real paver pads. Fabulous landscaping. Great service. Helpful people. Quiet. Only drawback are all the restrictions. No fire pits allowed."
"I really looked forward to staying at this resort but ended up very disappointed. Note our stay was back in the spring but I just got around to gathering my thoughts. To start, I appreciated the call in advance to check on my arrival. But when I noted that we would be early I was rudely told “you know check in is at x.” I have been traveling the country FT for four years. Only one other time have I had a park not be able to accommodate an early arrival. If you can’t the more pleasant way to address it would be to say “I’m sorry but we can’t accommodate…” They did however allow us to park in the staging area until 1. Of course as we pulled in we had a worker come over and again rudely tell us checkin wasn’t until 1. Upon checking in then workers in the office were similarly rude. Getting into our site (338) was difficult for a larger rig. It was great to have their staff help direct the parking. But again, not friendly at all and not understanding of steering issues we were having. Once all plugged in we started having our electric go out. They parking guys came back out to look at it. They said it was fine and moved on. The electric would restart after flipping the breaker and then go out again. We had had this happen before and it usually means the breaker needs to be replaced (that has always fixed the problem). I had to call them out a few times and they really never addressed it. They finally said they would have an electrician out Monday to look at it it was Saturday). Nobody ever came back to look at it. We just watched our electric usage more closely to avoid issues. Finally, the site. While the site has nice accommodations, it is billed as a waterfront site. However it does not touch the water. It is shoe-horned between two sites that abut the water. In fact there were flags up to note the property line. I complained about this to one of the workers who parked us. He said he would speak to the office. Again, nobody got back to me. For anyone looking at the site I’ve attached a pic of their site map (338 on the water!) and the view from our rig (orange flags, neighbors chairs on the water). If you want to be an5 star resort you really need to be better than this. The spots are privately owned, so maybe they really don’t care about renting them. I never followed up because at that point I was done dealing with them. The location for activities on HHI is great. But it is enough to convince me to stay given the poor service rendered."
