"Beware of this Hotel..... Even if you cancel within their policy they are very likely to charge you and claim that you didn't Cancel. I canceled and have received nothing from them. Not even a receipt for what i got charged for"

"Rooms are dated and did smell musty. Had a dehumidifier in the room running that we emptied once during one night stay. Humidifiers give off heat so turned down the AC UNIT and it did cool the room! Bed was comfortable but is a metal frame similar to a cot that sticks out six inches from the mattress so you bang into it getting in and out…. room and bathroom were clean but toilet and tub area is tiny… ran the shower then decided to shower at our next stop. No breakfast although a packaged option was listed on the website. Coffee was Keric pods. Sat at the pool for morning coffee and area was clean but pool is spalling and needs work! Second floor rooms may be usable but I don’t think the third floor rooms are in used based on window appearances and wires hangin out the windows. Staff at check in and check out were very nice but had to use a card for a security deposit of $100 which was refunded shortly after checkout but have not had to do that in years? It is Hilton Head so the location was great…. We stayed using Wyndham Rewards points and I expect hotels that are part of a “program” to be a couple steps up from this one. I will address that with Wyndham… If you need a layover night like we did and can get the room for under $100 (it is on Hilton Head Island?) and don’t expect much else but a place to sleep then go for it."

"I have never been so disappointed in my life. Wish I could have gotten refund to go somewhere else. When drove into parking lot and no one there that should have been my first sign. Lobby looked like something out of the movie deliverance. Room was on back side and why I don’t know cause it wasn’t like they were over booked. We work hard and hardly ever get to go on a vacation so I feel like my money and time was wasted. As you walked past other rooms on bottom floor you could see dead bugs and flies in window. Door to room was dirty. Inside was even worse. Door had rust running from top to bottom. Don’t know if it was from water leaks or what. Door looked liked it had never been cleaned. Filthy. The lock was coming out of wall and whole thing was filthy. Bathroom was a joke. Not even a vanity to set stuff on. The little piece of wire rack was about to fall off wall. The bed was worse than sleeping on the floor. One night stand. TV had only a few channels. Breakfast was grab and go but once again that’s not what was on the web page. If you wanted towels you had to put dirty ones in plastic bag and put outside room and they would hang clean ones on door. Great method lol. Would have slept in car but was afraid might get mugged. This place is very very misrepresented on its web page. I thought Wyndham was suppose to be a nice place to stay. Who ever owns this place needs to do some serious renovations or close the doors. I would never stay here again or would I ever recommend this place to anyone to stay while in Hilton Head. This place is s joke."

"The property is old, and does not resemble the pictures online. Our room had a stand-alone dehumidifier that apparently was spewing something that caused both my husband and I to get severe headaches within 10 minutes of entering the room. We decided to leave but were informed we would not be given a refund. We left anyway. Within an hour of leaving, our headaches were gone."
