"I wish I have considered those negative reviews before I went to see this doctor. Unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant as well. On my first visiting day, Dr. Pollack had a poor bedside manner. He looked tired, impatient and he placed his needle on me right after the topical analgesic was sprayed. He did not prescribe oral cortisone after the injection. After his treatment, the joint got better for about fifteen days. At the second visit,the joint was not back to normal and nothing prescribed except for providing patient education. Later on, it was flared up again. I had to call his office and requested the oral prednisone. Now finished the prednisone as they prescribed, the joint is still painful and stiff. My joint problem is not uncommon in his specialty. I think he did not manage the problem well. At this point, I think I have to switch to another doctor."
