"Kirsten the front desk lady ALWAYS has a mental problem every time I call the front desk. She assumes that she knows exactly what I'm about to say and cuts me off before I can say or ask anything regarding what I need done. Extremely rude! She had my referral for at least the past two weeks and refused to call me to inform me. I called her office yesterday and she admitted they had the referral but she discarded it because "your doctor mentioned you are uninsured and we don't accept uninsured patients". EXCUSE ME?! since the referral was sent, I've had a new employer and new insurance coverage. Kirsten could have been a better patient advocate and rep by CALLING ME to see if the insurance info has changed since then. I told her this! She started pointing fingers saying that the other doctor should have called me instead. Then she decided to tell me that this office is booked out for the next 2 mos and I'm pretty sure she is lying. I feel like it gets extremely personal with her every time I call LMS. I have not done anything to warrant the type of terrible behavior she displays. I don't know if she is discriminating against who gets in at that office or if she's just miserable and lazy and turning everyone away because she doesn't want extra work to do or what, but LMS either needs to remind her she is there for the patients and it's not the other way around. She needs to find a job that doesn't have much human interaction because clearly this job is not working out for her."
