"I have bought several pair of glasses from Walmart Vision Center (WMVC) over the years and previously have had little problem with either the staff or quality of the product. Of course, this has changed. I bring my own frames and purchase only the lenses, which are bifocals. I placed 2 orders spaced over 3 months apart. Both orders were supposed to be glass lenses because I've had problems with plastic lenses becoming splotchy and opaque possibly due to chemical/flash exposure, but Rebecca fouled up the 1st order and the lenses came back plastic. I didn't catch it until the lenses were scratched (rather easily) and I had taken delivery of the 2nd pair, which were glass, and weighed almost twice what the plastic lens weighed (44g v 23g), which proved beyond any doubt the 1st pair was indeed plastic. When I picked up the 1st pair, their rep attempted to keep my old lenses. I told them they are mine and I had paid for them and I was taking them. They were VERY hesitant to give me the lenses I HAD PAID FOR. When I confronted them about the 1st order being plastic, they looked up the order and saw that Rebecca had ordered plastic instead of glass. Of course, WMVC attempted to sidestep any responsibility by claiming that the warranty period of 60 days had expired. They FINALLY agreed to replace the 1st order's scratched lenses with glass if I paid the difference between a plastic and glass lens since Rebecca had screwed up the order. I picked up the 1st order TODAY and the prescription finally was correctly filled with glass. Then things got ugly when I tried to take my plastic lenses. Rebecca claimed the old lenses were theirs since the order was corrected. My position was I paid for them AND the glass lenses because I paid for the complete order when I picked them up the 1st time and again when I just paid for the difference in the corrected order TODAY. Because of Rebecca's threats, I left the old lenses, but I am thinking about filing a police report and let them sort it out. I'm sure this is a pattern of FRAUD Rebecca and other WMVC reps engage in to deprive customers of their property because of the previous attempts to deprive me of my lenses in previous orders. I am definitely NOT satisfied with the service I received or having to deal with a nasty thief that regularly engages in a pattern of deception to deprive customers of their property."
"We had our eye exams here. The staff and Dr. Parmar are so nice. Couldn't be beat their prices on frames and lenses. We are Seniors and paid out of pocket. His new no line bifocals and new frame cost $156. We usually spend $300 - $500 on a pair. I took a photo of one of their ladies. Even with a mask, you could can see she smiles. I got my eyes examined, the Dr told me I should check into cataract surgery before buying new glasses. New glasses would not help with that. Loved his honesty."
"Doctor is the worst on the planet! Very rude! He'll ask you a question and then talk over you. Wouldn't recommend him to a dog. Not kid friendly at all"
"Staff is wonderful, doctor is horrible. Told me my son would need coke bottle glasses and just to make him wear them. Told me I wouldn't understand the explanation of why his eyes are so bad because it was too in depth. Took him for a second opinion elsewhere and paid out of pocket I was so unhappy with the doctor. Got a very simple and easy to understand explanation from Insight Family Eye Care on Washington Rd. And my son does have a high prescription but he is not in coke bottle glasses...."
"my autistic son has been going here for about 4 yrs or so, each visit was exceptional, the staff is very professional, they explained very thing to him & myself b4 doing it, even repaired a pair of glasses tht warranty had expired w/o cost (was minor repair), would & hv recommended them numerous times, keep up the GREAT work guys."
