The team of professionals at Columbia Metro Treatment Center, led by a doctor, work with each patient to create a customized plan that meets their specific needs. "I have never shared anything this personal but I felt others need to know what help they can offer you. I can't say enough good about New Seasons on Chris Rd West Columbia. I was a patient for 3 years in Charlotte, NC at New Seasons. The difference is nite and day. The new director Carol is an Angel. I can't say enough good about her and the changes she has made here. She is so compassionate and caring for all of her patients and staff. She has an open door policy and no matter what she is always there to listen and help clients as well. I truly feel so welcomed and know the great staff here are here to help you. I have the best counselor I have ever had in all my life. All the counselors are good and Carol only chose the best for us. Addiction is a disease. These people are here to help you, and guide you to the help you deserve. Mo is one of the nurses here and so informative and helpful. Always have a smile on her face."
"I've been to several clinics in 4 states throughout my long run with opiates. I had gotten clean both through treatment and the hard way. This time was a relapse because of an old injury. So far with this clinic so good. Of course no clinic is flawless. All have little issues that can drive anyone back to using and the very nature of opiates can grab even the toughest minded among us. Only time will tell with this clinic. I'm aware of some past issues here, but nothing stays stagnant forever. I'm still quite hopeful."
"While I will admit that methadone has saved my life and helped me stop abusing opiates, I do not recommend this place. You will become a slave to it. While you can slowly earn take home meds, you must still work your life around the clinic. As for the staff, the majority do not truly care about you. They do nothing to help you with your sobriety. The term clinic is misleading...it's more like a legal drug dealer. It really is all about the money. They do nothing about people standing outside of the office all day drinking, smoking, and even dealing drugs. When you try to leave after you feel like you are ready, do not expect any support from the staff. They want you to stay and continue to hand over hundreds of dollars every month. My recommendation, if you can, avoid methadone and this place. Yes it has saved me from my addiction but at a very high price. Edited on 8/2019 The new guy in charge of this clinic is a joke. He has run off all of the good counselors and many clients. I personally left several months ago because of him. He doesn’t care about anyone except himself. He is running this place but has less education and credentials than most counselors. In fact, he first worked at a different clinic (same company) but failed to get his addictions certification within three years as required by the state so they moved him to this clinic. There are two much better methadone clinics in this area...avoid this place at all cost! Not to mention it’s the most expensive of all three!"
"I came here not knowing what to expect and left really grateful. From the counselors who were friendly and truly seemed like they care to the doctor who actually listened to what i had to say, the whole experiance was great. They may not be the fastest place around but they took care of me and made sure i left here feeling better than i have felt in months."
"Tony and anna r the people to talk too.they have done alot for me. But u have to want to get better.. Tony is a gr8 counselor and at her job and Anna is the best nurse iv seen in a treatment center. I heard how this place was run a few years ago and it's a lot better now way better.."
