"Do not go to this place!!! . They will not treat you as a patient but a prisoner!!! Horrible place save yourself don't go here. It's all spiritual these patients need other therapists. They overdose patients here. I couldn't sleep here at night it's too loud and the staff doesn't give you rest either they check you every 15 min or so. Before my discharge the lady in the front desk tried to give me the wrong medication. They drug people here be aware. Three rivers no need to reply to me. Just leave me alone!!! . I give this place a zero rating!!!"
"Place needs shut down! They lose your clothes or steal them. Some Staff is rude, they don't pay attention to medical health problems. & if you get mad they'll move you to the ghetto side with all the drug addicts & schizos fighting. Dr. Downie is a coward who won't call me back because he knows he did something wrong! Some head social worker tried to threaten me withmot leaving while I was waiting to leave. The people have no idea what they're doing just making money for pills! Music therapy is the only good thing here! Love those ladies!"
"So~ my review can't give an idea of what this place is like now, because I was here roughly twenty years ago. I lived in Three Rivers for about three years. It was mostly fine. The food was good, the staff were fine, the teacher and janitor were nice enough. The girls who lived with me were all awesome. There was a preacher who visited on Sundays, you didn't have to see him, but I liked to. The therapist guy we originally talked to got replaced by a lady, never knew why. She was okay, but I liked Mr. Stephen better. I think they were overzealous with medications. I would have liked to go outside more. I hated that white room with the three bolted metal door and the camera in the ceiling. They used thorazine too liberally, particularly considering children getting upset or having tantrums is hardly the end of the world, and doesn't typically require medical intervention to handle. Actually, I discovered on my own that being alone plus being outside calms me down pretty quickly, wish they had known that. I remember there were three levels, and you got different benefits depending on your level. Two of the levels were named Congaree and Broad, can't remember the other one. I was diagnosed with autism while here, which was helpful for a variety of reasons, particularly long term. I missed my mom a lot while here, pretty sure that had the most negative affect on my behavior and experience. Anyways, I think my time here was overall positive, but mostly because of the girls there with me, and a few of the staff were really nice. The depakote I got put on back then, I think it started here? It had serious negative long term effects for me, and I'm currently fighting those effects with the help of a doctor. I don't think all the time indoors helped either. I tanned easily before I went in, I've burned easily since coming out and my eyes are extremely light sensitive. Especially to the sun. :("
"DO NOT check yourself in here voluntarily. It was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Don't do it! The staff doesn't know what they are doing and neither do the "doctors" I witnessed a man have a seizure and they just left him there. He complained of chest pain hours later and finally they called the ambulance. It's a prison. Don't go whatsoever."
"I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I went here for 7 days or 1 week worst experience of my life I had to go to counseling after because of what happened they were doing drug test and they were faulty drug test. All of us tested positive for fentanyl, and they called my parents and told them I tested positive for an unknown drug THEIR IS NO WAY THEY ARE SURFID IN ANYTHING not to mentioned the bloodwork. They popped my vein and continued to take their needle and dig it in my vein, and the lady just said stop moving your arm. I was crying Screaming and she told me to shut up. My vein is still popped almost 3 months later, and my arm was in pain we had to go to the doctor to get it checked out. They should know how to draw blood. This was completely unacceptable. Everywhere is dirty and not Cleaned and adult pulled us into a room and told us all that we tested and if we did not tell them how we got it, we would all be in trouble and on lock down The fire alarm was pulled which triggered a lot of people which caused anger outbreaks The food made us all sick one night and they said we were faking it over 10 girls ended up getting sick and I ended up in the emergency room Very bad place i recommend going anywhere else except this place when police were called, they said cameras did not work, so they had no proof suddenly that all of this happened we will be trying to press charges"
