"I needed a new doctor and this place was very close but after reading the reviews I'd say stay away. I'm all for businesses responding to reviews but not acknowledging people's complaints and coming up with excuses saying they are lieing and blaming the patient is not the way to do it."

"Please do yourself a huge favor and choose another doctor's office. I went to the nurse practitioner as well as Dr.K so I have experience with both. They kept running the same lab tests over and over again without thinking of possibilities of why my joints and bones hurt so badly. They actually told me that I have to deal with it! I found a new doctor of course and immediately he said I bet your vitamin D deficient and as it turned out indeed I was. Problem solved immediately!! This is a simple lab test that needs to be run anytime labs are done. Dr. K's wife is the manager and she is just awful with the clients! She has Zero compassion and rude. I am so thrilled that I found a new doctor that actually cares about his patients! I have never felt so good!! Please keep in mind that they have only 3 stars for a good reason. Dr K' wife is the office manager and is very rude to deal with! She wanted me to take down this review because she knows that I am spot on with my experience at Palmetto internal medicine. I had a conversation with her and she agreed with me but still wanted me to pay $42 for incorrect lab work. I paid the small amount just to keep her off my back. Unfortunately, they are more money hungry than caring for their patients. Very sad!"

"My appointment was May 4, 2023 for a physical. I’m still waiting for a returned call from Alicia Ruland’s nurse. The office manager told me that their machine was not set up to take personal checks (a lie). This review was done on May 20, 2023. I will not be going back there. I received two phone calls prior to my appointment on the day of my appointment. They should have told me to dress for a breast exam, and they did not mention that they would not take a personal check."

"I have known Dr. K for a long time from when he started in our small town of Woodruff many years ago and he has not changed any. He still has his same caring attitude for his patients. He is ALWAYS understanding to my needs and oftentimes tells me just like it is! And I always need his advise. I'm so thankful to him AND his staff for the love that they show me with each visit. If you don't have a primary doctor, I strongly suggest that you get in touch with their office staff and make an appointment. You will not be disappointed!!☺️"

"The care providers I have worked with have been great (this is why they get 2 stars vs 0 stars). However, the front desk personnel are often difficult to deal with. A couple of years ago I had to change primary care providers due to my employer changing insurance plans. I chose this office due to proximity to my home along with a recommendation from someone. Please see the reviews about the constant need to go for an office visit for everything. Diagnosed with the common cold? They give you treatment and then press you to schedule an appointment for 3-4 days later to check back up vs telling you to come back if not better by then. If you choose this office, be prepared to make lots of appointments because you are going to be pressured to do so for every little thing. Switched my primary care physician today and feel great about it."
