"Brought my child here bc of the good stories I’ve heard. But never again! We waited 4 hrs. But that’s not the issue. When dr came in I didn’t even kno she was a dr. She didn’t make herself known she just checked his ears and mouth and then stated we still waiting on the swab results. Did not check my child pain areas did not ask questions about anythin.. when the results came back I asked questions bc I kno it was more to that bc the symptoms didn’t line up. But she wasn’t tryin to answer them. So bc I don’t trust her judgement bc I feel the medicine she recommended is only gon make him worse. I’m callin his dr in the morning. This might be a good ER for adults but not small children."

"This place is a joke! We have been here twice and have been place in a chair in a hallway! The first time it was okay because our nurse was on it. She was so nice and she gets the star. We a currently here again and labs are supposed to be drawn and nothing. Been sitting for an hour and nothing. We were sitting in the lobby and they never called us back. They actual did call us and another guy said it was him so they took him back then overlooked us! Then finally we overheard them taking the wrong guy back. Like seriously you didn’t check the paperwork. So while this guy was in a room we were put in a hallway. No apologies or anything! I will never come to this ER again! Thank you for the nice nurse who took care of us! Julia was here name!"

"*negative stars actually, they don’t deserve even one* I’m sure my experience is very similar to others on here (which should tell you something; that’s the problem right there). Went in at 11:30pm last night 12/28/23 and there were quite a few people waiting. The nurse got me checked in and told me to take a seat. I am 7 weeks pregnant, had chills, fever, congestion, massive headache and right earache, dizziness, and nausea. Most likely a flu, which I was told by my OBGYN that encouraged me to still go in to make sure baby was ok and I get meds pronto to help with my pain. I was going on day five with this sickness and I needed relief. It was an absolute nightmare from the moment I took that seat. After waiting two hours in tears and level 10 pain a nurse finally comes over and swabs me for flu and covid. Three second swab and proceeds to touch the tip with her glove before putting it in the test tube. 45 mins later I have to use the bathroom. The nurses see me get up and head that way and say nothing. When I get out I go to the desk to ask a question and the one nurse goes, “hey I couldn’t catch ya when you went to the bathroom but we will need a urine sample.” Ummm ok yeah you literally saw me get up and go and I’m hobbling bc I’m dizzy as all get out, so you could have told me, but unfortunately your cell phone was more important. Those nurses were the most unprofessional and uncaring woman I have ever come across in that industry. Laughing at patients, scoffing at others, no sympathy or care to anyone in the ER that night. Just sat up there laughing, eating candy, and seeing who else they could run out so they didn’t have to be treated that night. Absolutely disgusting for US healthcare that we pay thousands of dollars for (my last bill from them was $15k, and they had charged me $150 for a pregnancy test that is only $.98 in Walmart). After almost four hours I called up Pelham ER and gave them my symptoms and asked if they would honestly tell me the wait time. They said come on over. I went to the front desk, told the nurses I was leaving and not even a single I’m sorry for your long wait, they just stared at me with disgust like good riddance. I felt so bad for the others that chose to stay bc half of them should have been seen a long time ago with the symptoms they had, yet they were pretending to run tests on them instead. Want to know the best part? Probably not, bc you know it’s poo… but they sent me my test results on my chart to only come back negative with the flu!! Right after Pelham got me in back in about 15 mins, got tested positive for flu and ear infection, my baby was ok, and pain meds to ease my killer headache. I swear if prisma tries to charge me for literally laying in their waiting room for four hrs and a botched flu swab, I will refuse to pay and even be willing to go to court over it. NEVER AGAIN!! Go to Pelham and save yourself the pain and suffering… heck, maybe even your life."

"Yeah, I waited about 4 hours to be seen. It’s fine. I had flu like symptoms. I went to urgent care, sat there for 3.5 hours and wasn’t seen. If you expect to go to the ER and be seen immediately, you’re out of your mind. Stop taking it out on the staff. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes that you don’t see. Staff was really great. By the time I was brought back and seen, it was only about an hour. Thank You! ;)"

"My wife’s a Nurse. We just waited there (sunday),10/8/23. From 1:15 to 3:40. She stated she thought it was herAPPENDIX. Pain level 8-9. They took 5 people ahead of us;1just in 20 minutes;& they ALL were laughing & smiling when they went in. We left. U suck in your Evaluations. We’ll go to R doctor in the morning. If it is her appendix, you will be hearing from us."
