"I'm going to start by saying that most of my experiences with this office have been fantastic. Both Dr. Romano and Dr. Al have been great, and almost everyone we've ever worked with there has been amazing. That being said, today was a terrible experience and I think it's important to let people know when this kind of stuff happens. The long and the short of it is this. My wife needed a prescription refill for her heart medication. Unfortunately, she didn't realize this until she was almost out. When we sent in the refill request it was denied because she hadn't scheduled her annual appointment yet. Now, admittedly, we should have requested the refill sooner; however, the fact that medication for the management of an ongoing heart condition would be denied because an appointment hasn't been scheduled is NOT acceptable, especially since I had tried to schedule the appointment a few months ago and was told to wait. Chances are, the nurse who denied the refill was probably just following some policy, but when my wife's health is at potential risk, it feels more like a sadistic power trip, especially from an office that has previously been great to work with. I'm probably being a bit unreasonable in my reaction, but our entire medical system is set up to ensure that the people who are supposed to be served by it are instead essentially powerless and at it's mercy. It's infuriating to say the least."

"Made my first appointment here today. The lady that answer the phone was great. She was fast and knowledgeable. She made the appointment for me and gave me directions to the office In less than 5 mins. Her tone of voice was very pleasant and comforting."
