Greenville Metro Treatment Center
About the Business
Greenville Metro Treatment Center, located at 602 Airport Road in Greenville, South Carolina, is a comprehensive health facility offering medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction. The center provides a combination of medication and counseling to address both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction, including legal and illicit opioids such as heroin and fentanyl.
One of the advantages of MAT is that patients can continue with their daily activities while undergoing treatment, allowing them to learn to cope within their present circumstances. Methadone, an FDA-approved medication used in MAT programs, helps individuals recover by reducing withdrawal symptoms and cravings without causing mood swings or impairment. Buprenorphine and Suboxone are also available as part of a treatment plan, offering benefits such as lower potential for misuse and suppression of withdrawal symptoms.
Counseling is a key component of the treatment process at Greenville Metro Treatment Center, helping patients understand the nature of addiction and develop resilient plans for long-lasting success. Counselors work with individuals, groups, and families to address triggers, stress, setbacks, and loss, leading to improvements across all areas of life. Patients who dedicate time to counseling in addition to medication-assisted treatment are more likely to achieve enduring success in their recovery journey.

"If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is very racist a the older black woman that works the pharmacy window. We will be calling someone to get you looked at. My wife an I out in a request 2 months ago to quest dose for our vacation so my home clinic did everything faxed papers an everything. They got my wife’s but he dose went up 2mg the day before so she said well paper said one mg a computer says another so we got a problem I got to call a confirm. My wife said well my husband has his paper work well nope he’s no in the system wife said well your calling to verify my dose why can’t you verify him. Her response was cuz I’m just not doing that I’m not waiting on that. So my wife an I had to leave our first getaway from our kids in 5 years got cut short cuz we had to go back home so I could dose. I recommend finding somewhere else that has someone less lazy rasict a willing to help others. Absolutely terrible experience an I’m just upset we had to leave early because of the laziness. I hope no one ever has to deal with this or her or anyone like her it was terrible."
"This place saved my life and everyone there is so nice and understanding. I have read some of the reviews and I don't understand why some people would say some of the bad things they said you can't judge the whole place and everybody on your one encounter that was bad.keep up the good work."
"Worst treatment center you could choose. People at the window are very unprofessional. Extremely dirty environment as well as the facilities. Doctor will change doses without any notification to the patient. If you’re looking for a methadone clinic it would be wiser to look into CrossRoads on Pelham Rd even if the drive is a little more inconvenient the service is much better. My most recent counselor was good though and that’s the only positive thing to say, the rest just treat you like an addict, not a person."
