"I have always wanted to learn more about tracking/trailing. I am not a professional handler. My current dog has displayed interest in nose work and tracking and I wanted to find a place where we could get a good start. The only tracking we had done was my dog tracking my scent maybe 200-300 meters. Jeff and TTK9 are well known with many positive reviews and within 2 hours of me. When I was deciding whether to go there my biggest concern was that I was going to be in way over my head. I was a little intimidated. But it was obvious from the start of my decision making process that Jeff was there to help me. He told me they could work with me at my level. The first day after a short classroom session, we went right to tracking, which I was initially anxious about. We had never tracked anyone other than me. The step by step process, the support and help from all the trainers involved made it a really wonderful experience. The trainers were honest and straightforward with what we needed to work on. I can honestly say by the end of the five days both my dog and I improved tremendously. We already have plans to go back to help improve my handler skills. The location of the facility allows for numerous options for different tracking environments and the accommodations were really comfortable and convenient.
