"I called the office today regarding my medical records. I was requesting a copy of everything since I have had absolute hell getting them from anyone there. I will have to pay for them. They "claim" they issued my refund months ago but the check never cleared. They refuse to put any kind of stop pay and reissue me a new check. Or give me my own medical records and keep the money since they are lying and not giving it back anyway. I'll just add this with my complaint to the medical review board how I can NOT even gain access to my own personal medical records! Today is 9-11-23. I have not been to their office since May 2023. They still have not sent my refund they owe. I have billing statements from them showing the money they owe me. Since I have already made a report on them I think the better business bureau is next step. They owe me a balance and have not sent the money yet. I was informed by their billing department three months ago I would be receiving a check for my overpayment. Three months later and I still don't have it. They had no problem taking my money and finding a way to charge me over $600 for three months visits, but they have a problem sending back what they owe you. I guess I'll add this in with the malpractice lawsuit as well. THEIF! FAKE! CROOK! QUACK! TOTAL JOKE! I have been going to this pain clinic for more than a year and a half. I have been begging everyone I I have seen there to help with my pain. I have jumped through hoops. I've done injections I have went through months and months and months of the same medication with no results no matter how many times I have tried to explain to them it was not working. My insurance does not pay for injections so thats money out of my pocket but does anyone there care. Nope all they care about is money and how much they can nickel and dime me for. I have now been on the same medication 6 months in a row. Due to the total lack of communication from the doctor and his employees lead to me being discharged from the facility. There mistake is once again costing me. More money and more pain. They don't care about their patients why would they make a patient take the same medication for 6 months when they have complained its not enough. Over a year of me having to take 4 times the recommended amount of Tylenol and Ibuprofen with proof in my drug screens of the amount in my system. Do they care? ABSOLUTELY NOT! But why listen to the person that's in pain. As long as you get their money and can control them that's what counts. When I start having lover damage I'm sure I can find an attorney that will handle the malpractice case against them for negligence. I have given them over $600 this year plus my insurance payments. Have they done anything to help? NOPE! He got his money though. He is no different than the hack job that messed my neck, back and hip up. Oh but I guess that's the way these so called doctors are. There is no compassion. What is someone like that doing in this line of work? I guess this is how all the doctor's are these days. At least I'm one of the few people who still try to work at not pop pills and love off the government. I'm trying work so I can provide for my family. I guess it's hard to believe some people are actually honest and not dope heads. Let's top all this off. After they refuse to see me anymore I have had a doctor's off request my medical records 3 times. The first time Superior Pain Management claimed they never got the request. The other 2 times they just haven't released my medical records. Once the new doctor finally received my records it wasn't even all of my records. It was just my MRI's prior to my surgeries. So I had to go and get my records again from my surgeon and all my scans like x-rays, MRI's and CT's just so the new doctor would have them. DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH ANYTHING! NOT MONEY, YOUR PAIN, YOUR LIFE! THEY COULDN'T CARELESS ABOUT YOU! THANKS, DR. JAY PATEL! KEEP UP THE WORK OF PROVING WHY WE DON'T NEED WACK JOBS LIKE YOU IN THE MEDICAL FIELD! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! "I highly recommend Superior Pain Management! I’ve been going here for over a year, and I love Dr. Patel and his staff. The ladies at the front desk are ALWAYS very kind and very accommodating. Each one of the medical techs and nurse practitioners have always treated me with kindness and respect. Dr. Patel and his staff are very knowledgeable and try their very best to keep you pain free. They are very concerned with your health and safety when it comes to treatment plans. Dr. Patel is always very eager to accommodate you with a variety of injections, advice, and decisions about your particular treatment plans, whatever they may be. I’ve never had one bad experience here. The nurse practitioners are also truly concerned with your health, safety, and treatment plans. Every time I leave here, I do so with peace of mind knowing that I was given a complete and thorough examination . I’m also very satisfied that every time I come, I never have much of a wait time in the lobby or in the exam rooms. Everything always transitions very smoothly. "Dr Patel spent all of 30 seconds in the room with me before deciding that after my 2 back surgeries and missing work that fifteen 5mg lortabs would be enough for me for the month. After trying for a couple of weeks, I called to let them know that it wasn’t working. I informed them that prednisone had worked in the past. The reply I got was tough it out. That’s what I was doing before going to pain management. That’s definitely not what I call management and definitely not superior. I don’t recommend “superior” pain management and I hope you don’t have to learn the hard way like I did. *edit- After I left this review, I received a call that said “Dr. Patel wanted you to know that since you left that review, you obviously don’t want to be seen again so we’ll be canceling your appointment.” In an attempt to coerce me into changing my review. I responded with “that’s fine. I wouldn’t return anyway .” The lady wished me luck. I’m sure that he will retaliate as best he can. But I’d rather everyone else know what kind of “man” you’re dealing with."
