"I do not recommend the MinuteClinic's. There is no follow up with patients and the cost is excessive. They do not back their services. I had an unfortunate experience with this one and a more serious infection resulted which has taken me months to recover. You have much better care, cost, and follow up with treatments through local general medical practices. My favorite is Oakview Medical right across the way from this CVS MinuteClinic. My favorite pediatric office is Parkside Pediatrics just across on Batesville."
"Went in with sinus infection (confirmed by other doctor) and told I had a cold. Asked to give me antibiotics and refused (no other health conditions). On top of that, the nurse double charged my credit card which I had to inconveniently dispute with my bank. Unprofessional."
"Do not get a DOT at this place they do not know what they are doing! Med card was not signed so had to come back to fix. Customer service is not there Forte as they refused to help me in a timely manner. I was on a hot load so even was willing to pay to get a new DOT which I scheduled for next morning only to get a call and get denied as I hurt the practioners feelings! The lady who called actually told me my urgency isn't there urgency unreal!! Learn customer service cause as of right now I will never be doing Business with the Minute clinic again!!!"
"1) I didn't have my daughter's medicaid card and initially thought I'd lost it. I offered to pay cash and said Medicaid would reimburse me. I was immediately refused service because, "we can't accept cash once we know you have medicaid" Ok, maybe that's really a rule, but I was very upset since my daughter was in significant pain and was bleeding from her ear. I found the card outside and presented it so she could be seen, yet received a bill within a few weeks stating I owed the full amount of the visit. I called to ask why and was told no insurance card was on file. So the very proof they insisted on having just to see my child, they failed to even make a note of. 2) During the exam, the woman who we saw, asked if my daughter was in pain or frightened (because she was crying hard nearly the entire time) and I explained she didn't like new places or faces. After a few minutes, she asked if she was "delayed" in some way. This was completely irrelevant to the exam and the illness, which she admitted up front, and very unprofessional."
"My daughter was sick Friday then got worse on Saturday. By the time she took a turn for the worse it was around 5:15. I looked up the times and seeing they close at 5:30 we dropped everything and rushed to the store. Got there at 5:28. They were still there but said they stop taking patients at 5:20 and refused to see my 4 year old with a 102 degree fever. Didn’t even ask symptoms or show any sign of actually caring about anything other than leaving work. Very short and rude. I do not expect special treatment but we were there in the time that it specified but were unaware of the fine print. My daughter had to wait another 16 hours to be seen because we were 8 minutes late (2 minutes before posted closing time) and they have absolutely zero compassion. So if you need to go make sure you go before it says they close because it’s before posted hours. I’ve had better service and care from fast food restaurants than this healthCARE provider."
