"The transportation department is the worst. They want our kids at the bus stop for a 30 minute window because they have no set time for the busses to come through. When the students get a feel for around the time the bus is normally there, the bus might come early see NO kids, stop for literally 5 seconds then leave again. The substitute drivers are even worse about it (especially strom thurmond rt 7), they disrespect the students and get mad at the them when they tell them to wait. If I can help it, my other two children WILL NOT be attending Strom Thurmond because of the transportation. My recommendation to fix the issue is similar to Columbia County school district transportation. Their busses have transponders on them and they actually work with either the APP or their website so you can track your bus IN REAL-TIME. That way there is no wondering where your bus is."
