"I'm all for supporting a good cause. And supporting a great one like Habitat is something I feel strongly about. But when you can purchase new home goods for less than what your purchasing used, that's where I draw the line. And if you're a collector looking for some fun treasures (which is often why we shop thrift stores), you may want to visit the local antiques shops instead. I found that they are selling the same things often for less. And they've at least taken the time to clean them! The prices at this Habitat are alarming."
"Considering the fact that all items for sale have been donated, I feel the prices are much to high. During the pandemic when retail stores increased prices due to increased fuel cost, shipping cost and cost of products from manufacturing companies, Habitat also increased prices for items donated to them for resale. In some areas the prices are the same or higher than retail stores. Shoppers need to know what some items sell for at retail before blindly purchasing items, just because it's at Habitat. Some items are a good deal while others are not."
"Wow, the staff was super nice but the assistant store manager was extremely rude. We were about to spend a lot of money, but with her attitude and loud mouth we kindly put everything back and left the store. She was literally telling her employees at loud that I was looking into the wrong website to find a better price. First of all as soon as we walk in two different employees told us that the manager can give us a better price , we were planning to buy over 800 at least between furniture and game tables for our new house so obviously we want to get the best price possible if not I would just ordered it online and get the best price. Well, she was talking $#it so loud for everyone to hear, very unprofessional and plain disrespectful."
"I miss the old manager. He was super nice and friendly. The new managers let their kids run rampant around the place. We almost had a teenager knock us over while he was sprinting through the already extremely narrow aisles. New owners also price all their stuff extremely high. It's only worth it to come on 50% off days. We only really come here if we're looking for something in particular but avoid it whenever we can nowadays, whereas, we used to come every few weeks to peruse."
"Giving 4 stars because I have found some great things at great prices. However, your only open 2 days a week... and you close at 2pm. For your average working person that means one day (Saturday) with a 5 hour opening. I personally would go a lot more and buy more things.... if you were open."
