"I gave 3 stars because the comfort room was pleasant for our dog and us for what we were going through. I would suggest though that Blue Pearl bring the dog into a room where the doctor explains what's going on "while the dog is with the owners." This was the hardest part for us at 4:30 a.m. going in for an emergency, they just took our dog behind closed doors and said we couldn't come back with her because of OSHA regulations. 45 minutes later they finally took us into the exam room (with no dog) and a technician gave us very little information. Another 30 minutes passed, finally Dr Johnson came in to explain to us but she again did not bring our dog. Basically we lost contact with our dog the whole time until it was time to euthanize. We were pacing the floor. (Cost $322.00) I would like to have seen some interaction with the vet while with our dog so that as she explained things to us she was holding our dog and showing us things so we would understand. She used a lot of technical language that I didn't understand. I asked her to use Layman's terms. It was a hard enough decision. Blue Pearl, be in the room "with the dog" and the owners to show some compassion."

"The staff makes you feel like family. They helped me through one of the hardest times with my pup. They deserve all the praise. I LOVE How much they care for my dog. They acted like he was there's. I am so lucky I went to them. The oncology department is a 10 out of 10. The front desk staff always know you by name and never get annoyed when you call with questions. I cannot not say enough good things about Blue Pearl."

The staff at Blue Pearl did everything to make this as easy on us and as painless for Spears as possible and I want to again thank them for their compassion and kindness. He was such a "Good Boy" and we will miss him...."

"I can't express how well we have been treated by the Oncology staff at Blue Pearl in Summerville. We have been able to keep our Charlie around longer because of the compassionate staff there. They are very trustworthy and I feel like they have my baby's best interest at heart. We rescued him when he didnt have a chance and are heartbroken that heaven needs him worse than us. "I highly recommend BluePearl Pet Hospital. Dr. Mark McKenzie (ER Vet) was a wonderful, experienced, caring vet. He did all he could for our sweet 15 year old cat Winston. Winston was my baby and Dr. McKenzie treated him like his own. It was so difficult for me but Winston went peacefully in my arms with Dr. McKenzie. I will recommend Blue Pearl ER to all I know. Thank you so much to all the exceptional staff, especially Dr. McKenzie. Also the comfort room is wonderful. They made one of the most difficult days of my life easier knowing we did all we could and that he went peacefully."
