"Ordered 2 Douglas Fir Rogue Valley Doors through my local lumber company (not Dealers Supply) ,however, Dealers Supply was tasked with assembling the doors. When the doors showed up the threshold was 2 inches narrower than the jamb. The local lumber company who I ordered the door through agreed that the doors were assembled incorrectly by Dealers Supply. It has been 3 months now that Dealers Supply has been supposedly working on the doors leaving my building project at a standstill. I ordered a similar door through Reeb at the same time which showed up perfect and exactly to spec. Not sure why these people can’t figure out how to fix these doors."
"VERY POOR SERVICE! Ordered a set of sashes for a customer. Measurements were correct, and were sent to the company as such, but what I received were the wrong windows. Even the label on the package had the correct measurements, but the windows were not what I ordered. This was explained to them, but they would not return windows that THEY made the mistake on! Lousy customer service!!!"
"Whoever is running this place should be fired....its unacceptable for a contractor who is wanting to verify sizing and specific details to be told to contact a middle man(retailer) to work out any details...which they nothing about nor do they care....thats 4 different retailers....wrong website info and just poor customer service...I could make these windows in the time it takes to get a detailed estimate in writing to give you confidence enough to drop 15grand on some "treated" glue having to be scraped ....unpainted windows...better think twice 2 reviews from a former employee who wants his job back isnt a review"
"DO NOT BUY!! I GOT 20 YEARS AGO TO CUT COSTS. "oh they are the same as Pella, you are just not paying for the Pella name" WHAT A MISTAKE. The sashes sag, the windows leak, the side tracks are plastic and can't be replaced in same color. I was recently hit by a tornado. One window was broken. NONE of the reps nor the main office could refer me to someone who could replace it except for an older man who was retired but not very motivated. Then someone suggested a glass company. I called Davenport and they don't do that sort of window. As a last resort i called Kapasi and they came to fix it. The window was glued in with "wrong glue" and resulted in damage on removal of old window. It took me MONTHS to find someone to repair and then it wasn't possible to do it without some damage. I can see why no one wanted to help! The kicker is that Victor now makes the window but it is "thinner". I have 7 of these in one room and I would have to replace them all if they were to match which I will do when I can afford."
"LATE TURNAROUND TIME; MANUFACTURED INCORRECT SIZES; TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE; SLOPPY MANUFACTURING; POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS. I live in a historic neighborhood downtown. My house was built in the 1930s, so I wanted my new windows to match the existing character of the home. We chose to go with a local company, Victorbilt Dealers Supply & Lumber Co Inc, as we were promised a 2-3 week turnaround time. We were in a time crunch to complete other renovations that were on hold until the windows were replaced, so the promised turnaround time was a significant part of our decision. After seeing a gorgeous sample from the Victorbilt Heritage Series, I ordered 26 double hung (6 over 6 panes) custom wooden windows. The delivery date came and went. My contractor called and received a careless response. We contacted the company directly to ask when the windows would arrive. We spoke with sales reps and management, only to receive some of the worst customer service we’ve ever experienced. The windows arrived almost 2 weeks late, with no explanation or apology from the company. When they arrived, they looked nothing like the beautiful sample. In each of window panes in each window, over a 1/4 inch of brown glue had leaked out onto the glass. I can understand touching up/removing glue here and there, but the leaked glue was excessive. This look was consistent with every single window. It took our crew an entire day and a half just to remove the brown leaked glue, before they could even paint the windows. Our contractors said they had never seen windows that bad. As if that wasn’t disappointing enough, several of the windows were the wrong size. After our contractor and sales rep had measured and re-measured to provide exact sizing, the manufacturer still managed to make some of the windows 2 inches too big on every side. Another window was too wide by 5 inches! Our contractor was able to make all of the windows work with the exception of 3 that were just too large on all sides. The company was again unapologetic, refusing to manufacture just 3 new windows in an acceptable time frame. This forced us to cut into the brick in our home in order to use the over-sized windows. What is the purpose of custom windows? I would not recommend this company to anyone."
