"Okay so if I could give this negative stars, I would. So a girlfriend of mine and my boyfriend went here a fee days ago to shop. It was our second visit there. The first visit I think between the three of us we spent close to $100. So, we're shopping and I'm not joking every 2 minutes a girl that works there keeps asking us if we need help finding something, or if we need help. Like, no dude, we're just shopping it's a freaking thrift store, there's lots of stuff to look at nothing in particular, you know what I mean? It's not like I could say hey yeah I need a set of mixing bowls and they have it because they might not have mixing bowls right now. Seeing that the store runs on donations. Then a second girl started harassing us while we shopped . Wow! I thought that was pretty bad in itself . I was wrong it was not that bad compared to what happened next . Well, it finally climaxed when the second girl, (because the first girl went home), freaked out on us for putting some things in a tote bag to bring to the register to buy. She banned us from the store, but not before she completely embarrassed all three of us. She accused us of stealing, which we did not. It was publicly humiliating! I know I just wanted to crawl into a hole and just die. I was so embarrassed! I just couldn't believe what was happening. I think I'm a pretty good customer. I might take a while to shop in your store, but by the time I'm finished I've spent some money, you know what I mean? So obviously, she didn't have to ban us from the store because I can promise I will never return there and neither will the people I was with. I hate to take away money from kids with cancer, but I do not recommend shopping at this store. Carol, I hope you read these reviews because you need to do something about that manager. She was an absolute witch. She was not only annoying and bothersome while we were shopping, she was like a dog with a frisbee , she just wouldn't leave us alone to shop!!! But then she pulled that freak out stunt right before closing. Everyone who worked there seemed a little antsy and wanted to get out of there anyway. I sensed it was a hassle for them to deal with us so close to closing time. They weren't very interested in making any sales at 10min till close. I don't know what her name was but she said she was the manager. She was short, fat, and had long brown hair."
"I thought the store was really awesome. They have so many awesome vintage pieces. It's like shopping in a time capsule! Everyone is really friendly as well. Check it out!"
"Carol's Hope for Children is a wonderful organization. I admire the concept and services the stores provide in its efforts to help heal children. From the great selection of merchandise, to the wonderful and welcoming staff. Carol's provides a pleasant environment for shoppers. Though Carol's has several locations, the Taylors store is my favorite, as it offers a variety of rare items and friendly upbeat staff members. Eugine M."
"My wife and I came in here for the first time to check this thrift store out. The store is very neat and well organized. They had a wide variety of items for sale and the prices were very reasonable. Better than any of the other nicer thrift stores that we had visited. The staff that we talked with were very friendly. We enjoyed browsing through the store and ended up buying a nice pair of white wicker chairs at a good price. They really look great in our sitting room Profits from this store are used to help families with children who have cancer. This is a great ministry and I would encourage all thrift shoppers to visit and support this cause. Or if you have some good items to donate, I’m sure they would appreciate that also."
"P absolutely marvelous. They had absolutely beautiful stuff at great prices and the lady that work there at the front was absolutely an angel. And I don't think I've ever been to the thrift store that was that organized in that pretty. I can't wait to go back. They have such pretty stuff that I bought a chair that I don't even need but it was so pretty in the price was so good and I bought a gorgeous print frame print because it was just such a great deal so I will be going back there to do some Christmas shopping"
