"My daughter loves her teacher here and I absolutely love this school for her. it's a great safe learning space for your children"
"I've been sending my daughter to MAS since she was 4 months old and she's five now. We briefly moved away to Greenville, but I decided that we simply must move back to get my daughter back to the school as well as getting my newborn son (he's 19 months now) enrolled. Staff are kind and attentive and they adhere to the Montessori philosophy, which is not like many other schools that claim to be "Montessori." I cannot be happier with my experience there."
"Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at this school. As a new parent to Montessori education, I frequently checked in on my daughter. Her teacher was very responsive but during my last check-in, which was about 5 weeks into the school year, I was told that my daughter had retention and attention issues. I asked what we could do at home to help her with her learning and I was told that school is for school but I could give her some chores to do around the house....which would build confidence....which would translate into academic success. The teacher is well aware of my child's disability (absence seizures) but yet thinks doing chores is going to fix it? If I need to spend some more time working on things with her at home.....tell me what you're working on! I am used to being involved in my child's education and having a partnership with the school. I cannot understand (still to this day), why my child's education was a secret there. In addition, on her last day, she had bathroom duty and had to clean the toilet without gloves. As a parent, I was extremely upset and cannot believe a school would allow such a sanitation issue! When I spoke to the head of school regarding the withdraw, she didn't care what I had to say....she simply kept saying "yeah", "uh-huh", "ok", etc. hurrying me along. The teacher simply said "goodbye" to my daughter on her last day. She's 7......at least act like you care, enjoyed getting to know her, will miss her, etc. Now that she's at a new school, I can't even get a progress report/narrative of how she did to pass along to her new teacher. They refuse to tell me anything about what they did during her time there! I spent $3200 for 6 weeks of schooling ($500 enrollment fee, $900 for the two weeks in August, $900 for the 4 weeks in September and $900 for a one month notice for October (which 10/1 was her last day). Don't waste your time, money or energy on this place that calls themselves a school. For $9,000 annual tuition, I expected so much more. Ridiculous!"
"Excellent programs w/ awesome Teachers. An experience that cannot be given enough credit to the Montessori way of teaching. The time Lawson attended (12 weeks to 6 years of age) will be instrumental in years to come- thank you. -Dale Suddeth"
