Reviews
"The Spartanburg Science Center is a real gem for this city. They have lots of kid friendly programs and provide a nice albeit small spot to showcase some simple science concepts. A nice little room with some local reptiles and some exotic ones as well. Another room with various skulls and skeletons and other science displays which they use for small group lectures and what not. And not too far is the art museum and the little theater where you can find some interesting displays. Good stuff."
"I love that it was $5 and my son (1) was free. Some places charge for each person. My son had an incredible time and even got to touch the reptiles."
"Located in the top story of the Chapman Cultural Center building also housing the ballet and art studios. Caring staff, low price, small but quality. Extensive wildlife/biology room. Virtual Reality Station. Great for homeschoolers and all students. Mega blocks and live animals to keep the wee little one's attention."
"Fun little experiential learning space. From snakes to turtles to kinetic energy and sand art, this place has a lot packed into a small space. There is an extensive taxidermy exhibit in the main lobby and then a natural science exhibit to the right, a physics area dead ahead and then a local biology area to the left where you can hold and pet any number of snakes and turtles and tortoises. At only $5 a person, it's a good way to spend a few hours with the kiddos. Highly recommended!"
"This place is great! We enjoyed the lesson and exploring the facility. We will definitely be booking parties/ field trips with them in the future."
