"My grandchildren started at HPA the first day it opened. One has since graduated with honors, the others still attend. I think it's a great school. Have they ever had problems? Of course, all schools do, but all solvable. My grands love it, that's what counts. Things improve every year. Their sports teams are now getting recognition, they serve breakfast and lunch, they've added a beautiful gym, new classes are being added every year, attendance has really grown, it's accredited, and I think it's a top school."

"My best friend is currently going there and she is getting bullied and the teachers aren't even noticing. most teachers will punish the kids there if you for going to the bathroom like that's a human function why not let them go use the bathroom. If it would let me I would rate it 0 stars. left that school a year ago and my friend is trapped there with bullies. I wish I could help her so badly but I can't. if you plan on sending your kid or kids to high point don't. your kids will suffer bullying and harsh punishments from teachers. another thing to add is that some of the high schoolers smoke and they vape in the bathroom. Some of the teachers were even bullying students there. So if you were thinking of letting your child go there till 12th grade don't."

"We are in our 3rd year at HPA. In our experience, the teacher's and staff are excellent. They have always been welcoming, responsive and made us feel like a valuable part of the school. (I also have found both the drop-off and pick up school lines were as efficient as these things can be)."

"I do not recommend this school. My son was punished by having to walk a lap around the parking lot because he asked to go to the bathroom during class. He tried to go to the bathroom before school but was unable to go. So, parents please make sure your child is not afraid of the punishment they will receive for “disrupting” class to having to go do something that is to human nature. It is absurd. If it was that big of deal to Mrs. Petit she should have investigated before punishing my child. But no, she told him to meet her at recess. Then, wanted to apologize to me for punishing him because she didn’t know he tried to go to the restroom before school. She even tried to apologize for offending me so much. Yes, I apologize she offended me so much because my son to had to do something of human nature."

"We love High Point. Our kids have had wonderful teachers and their teachers have taken an interest in their individual progress. We moved our first child to High Point because she wasn't being challenged in her previous school and we now feel she is being challenged. My youngest daughter (1st grade) went from hating to read to reading chapter books in less than a year! We are so thankful for High Point. We've weathered some storms with them and I feel they are continuing to improve each year."
