"Made a mental health appointment, would have been the first mental health appointment at this location. They cancelled it, fine, made a new one for a couple weeks later. Cancelled that one too. Both were cancelled the day of. And they wonder why veterans are taking their own lives. Disgusting and disgraceful."

"The staff are kind and helpful. I like that it is smaller than many others I've been. It makes me believe I won't be there for too long :-). It's also very clean. No complaints"

"Recently my meds stopped working so I went into the mental health at the clinic. I was in bad shape. I needed to talk. Instead they had a nurse talk to me and she basically said they didn’t have time or resources for me. The clinic literally turned me away. I went to the Charles George va clinic in Asheville and my meds were corrected. Is it any wonder Vets explode. Thank you to the female nurse in mental health who couldn’t have cared less. All the normal clinic services are fine though. The Doctors are nice with the exception of one in audiology. I’ve seen one nurse in primary who’s miserable. If you can avoid the mental health section I’d look somewhere else. Probably give Charleston a try. Shame really."

"This place is terrible. I dropped a piece of paper off to get it signed by my primary care 30 days ago. So I can receive treatment outside of the VA on my own dime, and since they are so bad and appointments take forever. I’ve called once they said they would make a note, the second time the nurse said he couldn’t do anything for me cause he doesn’t work in that part of the building. I asked to be transferred to a nurse in the area of the building so I could talk to someone that could help and he said he couldn’t and he could transfer me to patient advocacy. This is ridiculous I’m just trying to get help outside of the clinic and they are the ones preventing me from getting that help. I thought they were supposed to be helping us, not making it worse."

"Nice area, with lots to do while waiting for your appointment(s) or after your appointment. With 2 movie theaters and Savannah Mall in the direct vicinity. As for the clinic, staff is kind and the facility is clean and locations marked large and clearly, so you can find the clinic your looking for! Also, they serve hot coffee on the first floor to the left of the front desk area."
