"My adult daughter and I took the Basic Handgun class at OTS last Saturday. Guns have always scared me but i wanted my daughter to know the basics of gun safety. DOUG is a natural teacher and did a great job! We feel much more confident in properly handling a gun and being around them. I have a better understanding now why so many people are interested in this hobby. This class seems to be geared toward people like us and people who already have a gun but want to learn more. I will be treating my other daughter to this class next month."

"Took a handgun class here and DOUG was my instructor. He was absolutely awesome and took lots of time to be to thorough and detailed. Great instructor. Great learning experience. OTS and their staff is great. One piece of feedback for the business, not Doug, but I would consider not including the Bear Arms guy talk for insurance. It felt very sales-y and took time away from the class on safety and technique. Not saying the insurance is bad or a bad idea to tell your customers. But just for me personally I'd rather just focus on the class and hear about Bear Arms another time or in another way. Again, Doug was kickass, and OTS is awesome."

"Knowledgeable and friendly staff, clean facility, everyone was so nice and friendly. All the staff looked so happy and that tells me they enjoy their job. That's good to see! All the equipment worked properly, very new high tech target machines. The staff did a great job at checking ammo and guns for safety, they even helped me learn an easier way to load my AR-15. Just don't be a dummy, do your research, know the rules ahead of going there. It's all on their website. Don't have a bad experience because you didn't learn the rules."

"I've lived in Jacksonville for about 25 years now. I've shot at nearly every range in the city. At one point I was shooting twice a week for several years during my lunch hour. Since the first day I shot at OTS, I haven't used a single other indoor range. The facilities are top notch. It's cool in the summer. It's warm in the winter. The fees are very reasonable. The store has a good selection of some of the finest quality firearms for sale, and a decent selection of weapons for rent at, also, very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about their products, and professional. Unlike other ranges, their range officers are present, watchful and helpful at all times. I never feel it's unsafe to shoot there...something I can't say about all the other indoor ranges in town. Their training department is top notch as well. The Training Director, Scott Whigham, is a wealth of knowledge about self defense training techniques, to Florida and Federal gun law, to everything you want/need to know about most common (and even not so common) firearms and their accessories. My goto resource for gear, training and firearms locally. I highly recommend you try out this store for you next purchase and the range for you next training day."
