"I arrived this morning at 8:00am when they opened. I asked the young lady what time did they open because I wasn’t sure. She was a little bitter and replied, “I guess we are open now.” I said I want to drop these off to be cleaned….”Well you ain’t gonna get em back til Tuesday or Wednesday.” I told her I was fine with that. I asked if I could pay today since my mom would be picking them up for me. “ Yeah, but you ain’t gettin a discount.” I told her that was fine, that I wasn’t expecting one. I was quiet after noticing all of her negativity. This was the first time I’ve used L&S since they have new employees. I was not happy with my experience and not sure I will return. I hope she has brighter days because this morning was a real bad funk."

"It looked like it was black owned so I decided to support. When I walked in I wasn’t greeted, I was just stared at. I don’t know if it was because I’m a young black woman and the older generation doesn’t feel as if I deserve as much respect as them; but at the end of the day this is a business and should be treated as such. I had to speak before I was spoken to and still there was a linger of attitude. I had several repairs and the women couldn’t tell me the price of them, I had to wait until I received my property back. When I did pick up my stuff again I wasn’t spoken to. I got home and realized 2 of my items weren’t repaired. I called the next day to see if the situation could be rectified. When someone finally did answer they put me on hold to finish their conversation about thanksgiving plans and then told me I would have to speak to a manager who’s only there for a limited amount of hours each day and there’s nothing that she could do for me, although I paid over $100 to get my items repaired. I would never go back there again. Lost a client over poor communication skills and not handling the situation appropriately. Update: The response that I received even further proved that the individuals that work here are rude. I don’t have the wrong place because I just posted a picture of the charge from them. It’s very rude to state they have pity on someone’s mindset just because they want to support a black owned business. Instead of using the review to better themselves they decided to prove my point. I pity your business. God bless you and happy holidays."
