"I wanted in to buy an affordable home defense shotgun. I'm not a collector, I just wanted something to protect my family and home if necessary with a desired price range of $250 to $350. I started looking myself when I was approached by a young sales man. I explained what I wanted to the young buck who approached to help, but he immediately tried upselling me a $1350 AR-15 with all the attachments. He didn't want to listen to me so I was forced to look elsewhere. They seem to have a great selection though."

"Great gun store and very friendly staff. A couple of years ago I had bought a Thompson Center 308 and a scope at another store. I went to Traders to buy my scope rings and they mounted my scope free of charge since I bought my scope rings from them. They did a excellent job at mounting my scope and did not try to sell me there most expensive rings. I bought the scope rings they recommended for around $25. I have never had any problems with my scope coming loose or anything now that’s a great business to mount your scope even though you did not buy the rifle or scope from them. They are a great gun shop and I will always recommend Traders to anyone. I recently bought a new Leupold scope and will be going back to Traders to buy my rings and have them mount my scope. I cannot say enough about how good they are to their customers. My husband has always bought his rifle and shotguns from Traders and we will continue doing business with them. The staff is always friendly when we come by to just look around and have never been pressured to buy from them. I was also in the process of buying a Smith and Wesson Shield M&P 9mm from them a couple of years ago. We had already done the paperwork and running the background check when I found the same pistol for half the price on sale at Palmetto State Armory. Since Traders is a local owned business they could not give the same price of a big gun store. I called Traders and told them I was wanting to cancel my purchase with them and they were so polite and kind and understood why I chose to cancel. I will say it again I highly recommend Traders and they gave me no hassle in canceling my purchase. I will continue to give Traders my business."
