"Didn't think it was possible, but their pharmacy service has gone from bad to worse. Received a text from Walgreens on a previous day saying my 2 scripts would be ready for pickup by 11am, day next. Went to pick them up at 1:10pm the following day. Get to the drive up window at 1:12 and the lady at the window says, no, they are not ready, no matter what the text says. Asked if they can be done while I wait, lady says no, pharmacist is getting ready to go to lunch, even though pharmacist lunch break posted on the drive up window glass says pharmacist lunch break is from 1:30 daily. Didn't seem like it even occurred to her to apologize."
"Extremely slow pharmacy service. 30 minute wait to drop off and to pick up, they will not fill or refill while you wait. Tried going in store and drive through, both are slow. Let me just add that it is slower now as of 11/2922. The wait was one hour to pick up a prescription that was ready for pickup. Ridiculous!"
"I swapped to this pharmacy a few years ago since it was close to my office. This has to be the worst ran pharmacy that I have ever dealt with. My insurance would only pay for a name brand of one of my prescriptions. Every month I would call the pharmacy to make sure they had the name brand in stock, which they would always say they had in stock. Then when it was time to pick up my meds, you guessed it, they didnt have any. How hard is it to reorder a medicine when the CUSTOMER is calling to remind you to order some. They also have nasty attitudes when I point out THEIR mistakes. Oh well, time to move on from this circus"
"World's worst phone set up. I tried to call with a question a few days ago and tried to get to a live operator, and it took me over 20 minutes. I also went through the drive-through for a covid test today. I had made an appointment for 4:30 online cause you can't make one over the phone, and it would be impossible to anyway cause of the god awful phone system. I went to the wrong Walgreens (which is my fault, not from Greenwood but I really needed a test.) but was at this one by 4:40. I would have called to explain that I was going to be late, but the phone number wouldn't pull up on my phone. I waited in the drive-through line for 30 minutes, only to be told that they were not doing any more covid test that day, that the pharmacist had cut them off at 4:45. The lady at the window seemed aggravated and impatient , but when I tried to explain why I needed the test that day, she hung the little phone thing up to go ask the pharmacist. I wasn't done talking yet, which was kinda rude. I had been waiting and really needed the test done. It was like they were trying to shoo me out of the line so they could leave and go home. Even if I hadn't gotten my Walgreens' mixed up, I would have been stuck in that drive-through line past 4:45. I had no idea that testing stopped at a certain time, and if that is the case put it in the confirmation email. Or maybe it was the pharmacist choice. The tech at the window said that they close at 6, which at this point was 50 minutes away. Don't waste your time here. Go to Publix. Their pharmacy and customer service is faster and so much better."
"Service of the pharmacy has declined big time in the last few months!!! The attitude of the pharmacist assistants is poor n unprofessional. Have been talked to rudely and hung up on purposely a number of times lately, new employees? When I call, left on hold for long periods of time but mostly never get an answer just wait to get a busy signal after waiting long periods of time.. Called with an emgeramcy question for pharmacist n waiting on phone few times just to ne hung up on and never got an answer!! Called from 7:30 pm till closing at 9pm was on hold every time n then busy signal until they closed. Will be shopping for a new pharmacy due to the decline in service that has took place in the last few months. Shape up Walgreens!!!"
