"It was ok. We had high expectations from the reviews... their online menu does not reflect today's prices. $5 more per person than listed online... I get it, everything is more expensive but for a family of 4, it makes a difference. The service was good... the young lady that helped us was very nice and informative. The fried chicken and the greens were good. Everything else lacked flavor. Both pans of mac n cheese we saw during our time looked like noodles with a little cheese mixed in and baked and had no flavor. The pulled pork was ok but honestly didnt have much of a smokey flavor to it. The desserts were again, ok. I'm sorry to disagree with the general consensus but I was overall very disappointed by the food. Owner should address whatevers making the restrooms smell that way. Probably wont go back next time we are in town."
"We took a shot and kind of missed on this one. There’s a buffet set up as you enter and you are strongly encouraged to partake of that. For us, this was just lunch, and we did not want a bunch of food. Take care in noting that barbecue only means pulled pork here. Food was passable and we appreciated the sample of hash the gave us, but there are better options just up the road."
"The pulled pork and mustard sauce were good, I would also recommend the corn nuggets, green beans, hash and rice, and the collards were good but they need more flavor wise. The hash isnt spicy like most bbq places around which could be good or bad depending on your preferred palette taste. The prices were more expensive than I thought for the quality but still decent food if you are close by. The staff was friendly and the food was hot and fresh as well. The sweet tea is really good. I got some togo food as well as the buffet and just the togo food was $35.19 after a convenience fee of 3.5% and I only got 1 meat plate and 1lb of pulled pork. If the prices were lower I would come back but as of now I will say I like the food but not worth the hour drive to get there or cost for me. :)"
"A great place to go for local dining. The buffet offers options that suit a most family style dining experiences with hearty sides and deserts. Solid choice but best at high volume times"
