"This is a beautiful place to see the sunset and relax. Great walkways and they restaurants and you get to see some shrimp boats too. A must see while visiting!"
"What a beautiful boardwalk. Seems like it's a gateway to the sea. The ocean breezes gently caress your skin, and face gives you such calmness and a refreshing feeling. Love this place. Please come and enjoy it for yourself. There's a lot of parking and handicap parking too. There's bathrooms as well."
"Beautiful scenic walkway that borders Shem Creek. If you are lucky enough to catch the shrimp boats returning you can see multiple dolphins up close getting a free meal! Excellent walk before dinner on Shem Creek!"
"A very pretty coastal inlet & marsh park with some nice boardwalks, nature views, views of fishing boats, dolphins in the estuary, crabs in the mud, and various seabirds for those Ornithology fans. While parking CAN be a bit of a hassle sometimes, it kind of depends on WHERE you park. The park technically extends over the estuary to the restaurants on the other side of the waterway by Shrimp Boat Lane. (You'll have to cross the Coleman Blvd. bridge to get there, where there's plenty of seafood joints to sit down & enjoy yourself at.) The park is FREE and most of the parking areas are FREE but do be aware that it varies depending on where you try and park. Pay attention to the signage in the parking areas. Some are "pay-for", others are free, and others belong to businesses which restrict their parking areas to customers only. Be prepared for a breeze (usually, especially in the mornings & nights) which can get right brisk during the cooler months. During the summer it can get get muggy-hot - REAL muggy and VERY hot so dress accordingly. It's a pretty park, well kept up, and the boardwalks are generally in good repair. It's a nice place to walk, especially after a meal at one of those restaurants I mentioned, plus there's the whole nature side of things which makes it very pretty sometimes, especially at sunset. Enjoy! Note: The photos I've included are from "the other side" of the park where the restaurants are since most of the photos for these reviews are from the marsh & boardwalk side. I figured you might want a different view, and yes: we saw a pair of dolphins cruising the waterway. It was cool. :-D IF you have enjoyed this review & find it useful feel free to hit the "Like" button as it helps me get even better at this stuff."
