"A beautiful view especially in the sunset! A nice place with peace and not too much noise. I recommend to come here if you need to settle down and just be."
"Loved, loved, loved this boardwalk. Gorgeous sunsets and great view of boats!"
"Very nice place. Great views. Nice place to see the sunset. A bunch of really good restaurants there too."
"Shem Creek Boardwalk was the perfect spot to walk after a fun afternoon at Patriots Point. It was so beautiful to stroll down the boardwalk. The view is stunning! The boardwalk wraps around the canal welcomed by the charm of fishing boats and restaurants. Parking was a bit crazy. There are maybe 15-20 free parking spots at the boardwalk. If those are taken, there is another parking lot. I believe those were around $35. We waited for just a few minutes until a spot in front of the boardwalk opened up."
"It’s our “must-go” destination whenever we are in Charleston. It can be a bit crowded at times, especially in the last pavilion that has the view of the ocean, but there is plenty of space to spread out. I love that it’s dog-friendly! Most of the time we’ve visited, we were able to see a dolphin or two. We were told by the locals that the best time to see the dolphins is in the morning when the crab boats are leaving, or better yet - when the boats are returning. There is plenty of restaurants to dine in by the creek/marina. There is also a public bathroom at the entrance to the boardwalk. The views from the boardwalk are gorgeous!"
