"Mitch is fine talking smack to customers, but when it’s given back he can’t handle it and kicks you out. Kate, Patrick, Josiah and a ton of the staff are amazing. Mitch is talking $#!+ all night about college basketball teams, but when I bring up actual universities and academics I get kicked out. Wow!"
"This is a great big place for live music. There is always a band I've never heard a bad one yet. I've been there many times people are very friendly. The drinks are very reasonable and the food is good. I order mine to go. Don't dress up it's a t-shirts and jeans kind of place. You can get up close and personal near the band is so much fun. Come see everyone at pub 61."
"Nice people and good vibes. Plenty of seating and an outdoor area. Kid friendly before dark. Call before hand to ask before bringing pets. Pool tables and easy to maneuver parking lot. I’ve only been a few times and each time is better than the last. Thanks for an inviting atmosphere."
"I had a great time at Pub 61 with the house band Bill and John x3 (popular name for musicians) during open mic night. The food, service, and atmosphere was great. If you want to see some new and upcoming talent this is the place to be!! I would love to add a video but unfortunately can't. Kudos to all, it was a pleasure to be in your presence."
"BEST WINGS IN CHARLESTON! While visiting town I was craving wings and I found The Pub on 61 online and someone told me about it too, this is a cool local bar with live music nights, pool tables, darts and a jukebox! Super cheap drinks and bartender was very welcoming even tho I’m not a local. I had a couple beers and of course I ordered 6 Sweet Chili wings and 6 Old Bay wings, wings came out perfectly cooked and the sauce was great. I definitely have to come back!"
