"This restaurant seems cocksure of itself but I do not think it is all that. We expected excellent service for a four hundred dollar dinner for two. Not really. The food was pretty good, the wine pairings excellent. We actually Enjoyed the wine selection most of all. Terrifically disappointing when the server brings over the Barolo AFTER you have finished the meat course. This was probably once a fine restaurant and now a tourist trap."
"Elizabeth’s on 37th is the type of restaurant people are referring too when they say they want a dining EXPERIENCE! It’s and old, southern Savannah mansion converted into a restaurant that provides 7 course meals and wine pairing to its guests. From the time I ate the first course, which was an assorted small plate with salmon chunks, a muscle & a mini edible pimento cheese bowl, my tastebuds never stopped feeling sensationally, shocked by the introduction of new flavors. I loved that 3 of the 7 courses provided you with two different options to choose from and are dependent on your preference or dietary choices. For the second course, I had the Georgia shrimp taco with melted cheese and local mushroom. Absolutely delicious, curbed my hunger and set me up for what was to come. The third course I chose a purée’d perfection of butter-bean, bacon and mint. A very earthy, hearty soup with two delicious shrimp. The fourth course was a salad made from fresh ingredients grown in the mansion garden. For the fifth course I chose Flounder over Gullah crab fried rice. I love a restaurant that incorporates cultural recipes into their dish. The flounder was nicely seasoned, light and paired very well with the rice. The next course and the BEST course was the Pepper Crusted Meyer Ranch Beef Tenderloin. I’ve never had a steak so good!!!! Best steak IVE EVER HAD. It came medium. They don’t ask your preference the chef makes it the best way they see fit. If you’re picking this experience is NOT for you. The flavor, smokiness, tenderness, juiciness of the steak was to die for!!!! And last the dessert was a homemade Granny Smith Apple & Blackberry Pie with cardamom ice cream and salted Carmel drizzle. The name alone should let you know how phenomenal it was. To say I was satisfied with this meal would be an understatement! I felt like I was eating love in the form of food. 100000/10 !!!!"
"pretty good! the waiter who first came to our table and explained the meal was excellent and for the most part they were all very attentive. one staff member kept getting their phone out and it was kind of distracting in the dim area of the restaurant where we sat and where they were standing. timing of the dishes was a little erratic. at the end, i was still chewing my tenderloin when the server took the dish away and placed the design front of me. i thought that was pretty weird. overall cool experience."
"This is the best of the best, a truly wonderful dining experience. We went to try the new Spring Sampling. A 7 course meal that didn't disappoint from beginning to end. Lovely hand crafted soups, seabass, flounder, scallops, Georgia shrimp, beef tenderloin, and dessert. We had the wine pairing and left so full I could barely move."
"We went to Elizabeth on 37 for our honeymoon dinner and did the chef tasting menu offered. Our server was very into his role and definitely took care of our table. All the food was very fresh and delicious. If you get the chance to do a menu tasting, you definitely need to check this place out."
