Wayback Burgers

"Update: someone from the company gave a wonderful reply that seemed sincere and respectfully written. So "Thank you!". I really think we just caught them at a bad time. So, funny story... It's my birthday in a couple of days and I thought let's try to order online from a place we don't usually frequent and it's Friday night on a holiday weekend. This was doomed from the start. LOL Ordered 3 burgers, 2 shakes, 3 funnel cake sticks, 1 Mac & cheese bites, and 1 drink. We got 3 delicious burgers, 2 half finished shakes (1 was the wrong flavor, but my son said it was good), only 2 funnel cake sticks (my husband said his fries were enough), no Mac & cheese bites, but we did get one drink. Since our fridge just stopped working, we were happy to all have a cold drink and a warm burger. My husband picked up the order (which was already paid for online) and said they were short staffed apparently only two people showed up to work. While he couldn't say they were overly friendly, they were polite given how tired they probably were with two hours left to closing. And they got a bonus since our missing food was more than $15 worth of products. I took a few photos of some of what we got. The funnel cake sticks, a brownie shake, and a customized single burger(mushroom and Swiss cheese with extra American cheese). For the inflated prices, thrown together food, I just can't say it was worth the hours it took me to earn the money to order it. BUT, I commend the people that showed up to do the job they agreed to do and question the management or corporate policies... Maybe on a regular night, with a full crew working, it could be worthy of the average 4 stars. Warning - don't order from this particular venue online."

"I used Doordash to order their food, I noticed my niece tried their food and enjoyed it, so I decided to try it myself. I got the cheesy hamburger it was very delicious, the buttered buns were my favorite, along with the well seasoned patties. I'm impressed they didn't go overboard with the condiments, like most burger places whenever you ask for condiments on your burger. I will definitely love to visit them in person when I get the opportunity, the brownie shake is pretty good. I would love if it had actual brownie pieces in it, or at least brownie chunks I enjoyed their meal tonight."

"Hi. It's been a minute but this had to be done. I wasn't looking, but I found my new burger spot. Wayback has been on the menu for me twice in one week. I hardly ever eat the same place twice in a month or more. It's just so many choices. Wayback takes the shake. Made with my favorite, real ice cream. I'm sorry but soft serve doesn't cut it. I tried the Red Velvet shake and at first sip I was GOOD! It had chunks of cake that were just yummy. But what surprised me, those chunks of cake didn't clog up the straw. That alone is worth 10 stars. The vibe is mellow. Low key and a great place to have a conversation while your eating. No blaring music or TV. I also tried the Mac &Chz Bites. Order 2. They are addictive. We ended up getting 2 more to go. I did learn they use 100% vegetable oil with zero cholesterol. All that said, to me it's all about the beef. I have had 2 Cheesy, and 1 Bacon Double burger in my 2 visits. I gotta say I can't tell you which one I enjoyed more, and I was raised on butter and bacon. So far they are 2 for 2 with me. I will be back. Great job, to the owner and staff for understanding the meaning of hospitality. Great food! I absolutely recommend giving them a go."

"Had lunch here and loved it! The fried pickles are some of the best I've ever had. My burger was very tasty. They must use some kind of special pepper jack cheese because it was really flavorful and delicious. My husband ordered The Cheesy (it was just meat and cheese) he loved it. We also tried the chicken tenders, they were good but we will probably skip them next time and try some fries or chips instead. Our order was cooked quickly and perfectly. Can't ask for anything more! Great visit!"
