"The Links Beer-Battered Onion Rings were a little too battered for my taste. The rings were 80% batter so when you bit into it, the inside was a little too squishy because of all the moisture trying to escape from the onion. My Links Steak Salad was disappointing due to the small size, the tough steak, and the sorry lump of burrata cheese. Instead of being creamy and soft mozzarella, it resembled more of a clump of chewy milk-rubber. The Prime Rip Dip sandwich was also a disappointment with the steak barely tasting of anything even with the au jus (dripping sauce) paired with it. We tried to soak more flavor into the meat but resulted in having to compensate with soggy bread instead. The French Onion Soup didn’t have a cheese-pull. My one positive critique is that the Lowcountry Crap Soup tasted amazing with the flavor of the chili oil blending nicely into the buttery taste of the soup."
"Pretty restaurant and cool location, food was just okay, nothing super extraordinary. Looked better than it tasted. Grits weren’t fully cooked and was pretty bland. Service was like a 2/5. Our server wasn’t “rude”, just didn’t care to interact with us whatsoever. There’s definitely better options around Sea Pines!"
"This had to be among my top 5 restaurants! The view alone that this restaurant provides is beyond beautiful. The large ceiling to floor windows, and the perfectly manicured view is absolutely amazing! Our waiter was well informed and very kind! I didn’t even try to resist the beignets and they didn’t disappoint! The crab cake Benedict was my choice, and it was among the best I’ve had. The cost was between 50-100 dollars per person. It was more than worth it!"
"What a treat the Sea Pines American Sommelier Series is hosted by Sea Pines Food &’ Beverage Sommelier Mark Bowman. We thoroughly enjoyed the Thanksgiving Wines Somm Series with four delicious white , red , and desert wines. A wonderful event in the Lighthouse room enjoyed by an intimate group.. Cheers. PS I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing French Onion Soup on Sunday. Wonderful rich flavors."
"Damien and Mark provided for one of the best nights. The food, the wine recommendations. The conversation and the outstanding service is some of the best on the island! Highly recommend the crab soup, filet Mignon and lobster tail, Brussels sprouts and the outstanding wine recommendations. We celebrated our anniversary and the entire team made our experience just outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!"
