"The seafood bouillabaisse was a perfect plate of food. I could have eaten a plate of brussel sprouts and nothing else. The blackened catfish was, easily, the best catfish I've ever had. I traveled to Charleston to visit my love and eat well - and all my intentions materialized perfectly. The ice cream for dessert was a perfect finish! I hope to return one day! Great service, lovely dining room, arrived for dinner and experienced no wait at all."
"My friends and family have raved about Magnolia's and finally had the opportunity this vacation to try it. It did not disappoint. We had a reservation at 4pm for 7 and were seated promptly at 4pm. Our server, Kayla, did a FANTASTIC job. She had great recommendations and was friendly. She was great at clearing empty plates and timed the arrival of our courses very well. Our appetizers were all great. The fried green tomatoes were on point. The pimento cheese was also tasty. One of the few pimento cheese apps where I could actually taste the pimento rather than just adding color to the dip. The Brussel Sprouts were also great. I think there were cranberries in it as well as nuts--it all worked together well. My wedge salad was perhaps the best wedge ever. So many different ingredients that added to the salad without being too much. I had the pork chop with gouda mac n cheese, rice and Collards. It was the best and biggest chop. The bourbon BBQ glaze was so flavorful without overpowering the pork. The pork was very tender. Had the pecan pie for dessert. Great ratio of nuts to filling. Very, very good overall. The atmosphere was nice and not too noisy and it was busy. We never felt rushed which was also very nice. Highly recommend!!"
"We ate a late lunch here with my group of 6 people. We had a reservation, so they seated us quickly. The place was really busy, but the service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food and the ambiance. I highly recommend dining at Magnolias!"
"We ate here for brunch on our anniversary trip, and it was AMAZING! We will definitely be making this a must-do on our future trips to Charleston. Our waiter, Tyler, was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, breakfast country fried steak, and some fresh bread. We even got a cute postcard with our meal. 10/10 would recommend!"
"This was my first stop on the trip and it was great! From the service to the ambiance and the presentation of food! Everything was incredible. I tried the fried green tomatoes which were crispy and the French toast stuffed with cream cheese was delicious too! The tableside bread was worth noting too!"
