"Girl at counter was nice, however food is not what it used to be. Husband's burger was so dry, and they didn't grill his jalapeños. My sandwich was made wrong. Cook was asked to remake it and took a break instead. We used to drive over an hour to eat here.....we will not be back again."
"What a delightful surprise. Recommended by a friend, I would have driven by without knowing how good their food was! Caesar salad with real anchovies! The salad was topped with fried Pysters properly done. And crab hush puppies, how would you not want those."
"We recently visited Lowcountry Produce in Seabrook, SC, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure my experience was top-notch. The food was amazing! Everything was fresh and tasted like it was straight from the farm. The store itself was beautifully designed and well-maintained, with plenty of seating areas to relax and enjoy your food. The location was convenient and easy to find. Overall, I highly recommend Lowcountry Produce to anyone looking for fresh and delicious food in a welcoming and friendly environment. I will definitely be back!"
"We were driving back from Hilton Head, it was lunchtime, and we found Lowcountry Produce. It is an unassuming little place from the outside with dirt road parking. Nonetheless, when you walk in it is surprisingly pretty and spacious. Only indoor seating available, but fortunately for these times, we were the only ones in our dining area. The food sounded promising and there were some menu options that seemed surprisingly sophisticated. However, the execution on most things did not live up to the description. The one stand out was the fresh, local fried oysters. They were fried to perfection and delicious, served with a really good tartar sauce. Yum. Chicken tenders were pretty good. Coleslaw was too. Where they fell short was the bacon cheeseburger (dry and not tasty), the fries, and the grilled chicken sandwich with "melted" blue cheese and peach chutney. I mean, that chicken sandwich sounded so delicious, BUT the chicken was barely grilled so no good char flavor and a little dry, and they used blue cheese crumbles (note: those don't melt, so it was just crumbly cheese that kept falling off). The peach chutney was indeed delicious but they need to use a runny, melty blue (think gorgonzola) and cook the chicken better. That really could have been a winner. Bummer. Having a rooster wandering around was fun though, and service was very friendly. And they sell all sorts of yummy looking sauces, jams, chutneys, etc. If the peach chutney was a good example of those, don't hesitate to buy them!"
